Tried calling for days to get a cabin reserved, with no answer. I called the Main MWR office. They said they were fully booked for the next three months, and they only made reservations 90 days ahead. The main office couldn't tell me if i called back in two weeks that I would be able to reserve something that was... More

Being relatively new to RVing, I was a bit apprehensive. But the Oak Grove Park was a very friendly and welcoming place to stay. On the base at NAS P'cola, it's a couple of hundred yards from the water, the Lighthouse is just down the street and the National Museum of Naval Aviation is across the street and a quarter... More

The campground is very nicely kept. Very large cement pads and ease of access. Some sites size difference occurs, not a deal breaker. Wonderful bathrooms and showers. I called it my luxury time. laundry $1.00 wash $1.00 dry excellent! Ironing board and even a shampooer to use for free. Gathering indoor gazebo with happy hour everyday to chat with fellow... More

We camp here every summer for 2 weeks. The beach is never crowded, we leave our chairs on the beach the entire time we are there and just go to our spot every day. The water is pretty and clear. We ride bikes, walk on the trails, explore the forts, play golf, canoe and rent a pontoon boat. All of... More

We stayed in cabin #12, a furnished one-bedroom. Everything worked in the room, but everything was very dated. Pro: quiet (except for airplanes), patio was fantastic. Con: No internet, even tho they advertised wi-fi, we could never connect to anything. Since it's a "cabin", you have to go exchange your towels and bedding yourself if you need clean ones. The... We camped in our new camper about a week ago. Stayed on site #16. The sites are extremely close to each other. The road noise makes you feel closer to the city than the woods. The beach is ok but please note that this is the bay and NOT the Gulf of Mexico. Sand spur h### throughout the campground. We... More

We stayed at the campground a week over spring break with our two kids and two dogs. The campsites are a little close, but they are full hook ups on good concrete with adequate shade and we were never there with so much to do elsewhere. The beach is visible from nearly every site. Unlike the little wedge of crwoded... More

We stayed in a one bath, one bedroom with two beds and a pull out couch in the living room. Before my trip I read a few reviews and was a little leery however the cottage was nice. The cottage was clean and not dingy as the appliances, paint, flooring, and windows were all like new and well maintained. There... More

We stayed in a two bedroom cabin on the beach. The beach access was great and the view from the decks beautiful. That is the total positive I can say about the cabins. Besides the beach cabins, there are also one and two bedroom cabins on the bluffs just a little further from the beach. The cabins need a good... More
