The “hotel” is a quaint Inn with historic charm. It is perfectly located to enjoy downtown (walking distance too many venues). The staff was friendly and helpful. There are humidifiers in every room to control the humidity in the building and make the guest comfortable. The building has a “Historic odor”, one you may find in most old historical houses,... The hotel rooms are quaint and it is within walking distance to good restaurants , the ball park and water front. I have stated here several times and I was disappointed to find out their own restaurant had closed. We walked to Jaco and the Fish House to eat - both great!

We stayed here for a wedding The hotel is ok the rooms are not bad. However the AC in our room worked poorly. When we told the clerk she Only said sorry I'll let the manager know. We never heard anything from the manager nor were we offered a discount since we had to sleep in a hot room. To... More

We booked this hotel for our wedding night. Huge mistake! When we arrived we were brought to our room and it smelled very bad of cigarette smoke. We are not smokers and could not stay in that room. We were given a different room upstairs. It was disgusting. There were stains all over the carpet and everything looked old and... More

At check in my room had been changed to a king but I was able to get the 2 double beds which I needed. The rooms were dark without enough lighting. I saw a dehumidifier & realized rooms must have a problem with dampness. The furnishings need updating terribly. I requested a wake up call which we did not receive.... More

I have never written a review, good, bad or otherwise, on a hotel. I have travelled internationally and domestically for over 40 years on business and for pleasure. The web site for this hotel is a fraud. When we checked in we were given a room that smelled mouldy and stuffy. In fact there was black mould on the tile... More

We chose to stay at The Inn due to its close proximity to the venue we were attending. As we began to dress for the occasion, we found no hot water. The desk attendant said it was being reset and to wait 15 minutes. Waited the time and still no hot water. When calling for the reservation we asked for... More

I don't even know how this place got an overall rating of more than 1 star. They say it's an old converted warehouse and it sounds charming, but here's reality: 1. Damp, dank, and moldy. I was here in the summer and they had the air conditioners running and all the room doors open (no one was staying there and... More

We just planned to spend one night so we would not have to drive home after our friends wonderful birthday party. We should have been warned by the old time room keys--$65 charge if you lose one!! As we entered the room and were shocked by the 60's decor, we found only one of 3 lights would work. The other... More

I had my 50th birthday party there 11/30/13. Terrible service! The party was good, the room, lights, dance floor. We had no "go to" person to assist us. 4 different parties going on, we had to direct the traffic, keep others out of our party, from cutting thru. Wait staff unprofessional. Food out very late. Took food away early without... More
