We had reservations at a different hotel and it wasn't up to our expectations. We found the New World Inn online and made a phone call. The front desk was a huge help, we got a great rate and he even helped us with directions! We could never have enjoyed staying anywhere else as much as we enjoyed it here!... more

My husband and I booked a room here along with family for a relatives wedding. Upon arriving around 3 we notified the desk clerk that the room was well over 85 degrees. They promised to check it while we left for the rehearsal dinner. we did not return until after 10pm and the room was still horribly hot. we were... more

Avoid this place like the plague. No heat, no AC, filthy rooms and a staff of minimum wage morons. This is easily the worst experince we have ever had. The rooms are no bigger than rabbit cages. more

Wasn't sure where to stay other than we knew we wanted to be downtown as we prefer dt locations to the suburbs. The hotel is on the south end of Palafox which allows for a short walk to view the water. Walking the opposite way takes you to the heart of downtown. The decor of the hotel is traditional /... more

This inn has only 15 rooms and is located right off of downtown. There aren't a lot of other services like you get at a bigger hotel. No pool, dining, internet. But if you want a nice room in a quiet part of town, this is the place. There is a wall of celebrity pictures from those who have stayed... more

I stayed two nights in the Juan Gonzalez room. Very quiet with nice beds. Carpet was a little stained. Not all rooms have high ceilings, mine was slanted. The staff was heplful and friendly. Breakfast was included. Many pictures on the walls of the lobby of celebs who have stayed there(all from the 70's and 80's). Overall I would recommend... more

New World is a quaint, historical and well placed Hotel. I would recommend it if you need to stay downtown. However, we did have an issue with our room. There was no air conditioning when we arrived at 5:30 p.m. and the hotel staff knew of the issue at 3:30. She made no call to the maintenance person until we... more

I almost hate to write this review in case everyone finds out about the hidden jewel of downtown Pensacola. 14 lovely rooms each decorated differently. Hidden in the heart of Downtown, 1 block from Palafox marina. Our room had a view of the bay and all the fine yachts at the marina. Staff was execptional-very very nice! Room was very... more
