This is our third trip to pinnacle port at Carillon Beach. This is an excellent place to stay. The location is right before the split of road 98 and the Panama City Beach front road. Lovely, two-story condo on secluded, gated beach for $88 a night. What more do you need to know? The only downside, act of nature, was a lingering green algae/seaweed problem on the beach. We spent our Thanksgiving vacations at this beautiful Pinnacle Port resort. Pristine beaches. Relatively few people as the complex is next to Camp Helen, a State Park which is hardly utilized. Down the beach is an inlet (fresh water from a large lake that pours into the ocean) which is ever changing. Had a wonderful stay. more

Great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet secluded area of beach with only a short drive to great outlet shopping, excellent dining or the hustle and bustle of Thomas Drive. The property has just completed a major renovation project and looks better than it has in years. We loved the covered heated pool during the chilly days.... more
