This place has something for everyone. From young couples to retirees, you feel at home and at peace. There can be so many kids you can't count but there is never a problem. Kids have loads to do. Every afternoon there are competitions for them and the staff makes them feel like they are their best friend. Although it always... More

My sister and I are in our 60's. We used to visit the Driftwood when we were kids. Several years ago we rediscovered it and visit for a week every summer. We love the family feel of it and the fact that the Gilmore family and staff give such attention to their guests. We always get a cabana room so... More

We were fortunate to find a vacancy at this hotel during a busy weekend. The room was clean, the staff was nice, and the location was excellent. It is not an upscale place but it's very reminiscent of the old PCB before the condos took over. It was nice.

I managed to get this hotel for 90.00 a night. I chose the cabana room and the location is perfect. Ground level walk out to the beach. The rooms are not super clean as everyone is stating. The are just ok. The beds are not comfortable and the floor is sticky. The staff is very friendly and they let us... More

My friend and I are doing a trip around Alaska. On the train from Denali to Anchorage I had to find a place for us to stay in Homer. After calling around what felt like every accommodation place in Homer I found driftwood. Our luck couldn't have been better. Excellent facilities, clean rooms and linen, friendly staff and conveniently located.... More

Last minute trip in the middle of peak season, it was the first vacancy we found. The two young ladies at the desk, Monica and Tiffany I think, were a pleasure. They only had one room left, and even though they were busy, Tiffany took the time to show us the room, and explain that the balcony is not private,... More

We were looking for a reasonably priced hotel for our family to stay at that was on the beach, with a view. While we knew this was nothing fancy, we were disappointed in what it was. We were in room 143. There is absolutely no privacy on the back porch. You can look from one end to the other and... More

It is not a classy hotel but it useful, in a great location and quite comfortable. Last week was the first time I have ever stayed there but I would do it again! It may looked dated but it is clean and well maintained. Very family oriented and quiet, excellent location away from the hustle and bustle of the main... More

this place has everything for families, from watermelon everyday to a movie night on the deck. Staff is wonderful and amenities are great. The scenery is great and you have the choice of beach or pool, or relax in the hot tub. Even have a cool beverage from the tiki bar. shopping is just a block away at pier park.
