We have stayed at Sandpiper Beacon several times in the last 20 years. We were worried about the reviews about the hotel, but I'm glad we ignored them. Absolute Dump. Stay Away, Run Away Fast. The room was an absolute nasty dump. We paid extra for a kitchenette. It consisted of a nasty greasy stove setting about 2 feet inside the door.
