CAMPERS: For Your Eyes Only 😳 Our purpose for going to Panama City Beach was to be a fan of our granddaughter & her team during their season final girls softball tournament. As it turned out, we were perfectly situated between the two sports complexes they were using for games. We were tent campers. A majority of the sandy sites... More

If you're from the mountains or plains but love the ocean and find yourself in Panama City Beach, do yourself a favor and stop in St Andrews State Park. Our condo was about 6 miles away which made for the perfect bicycling/beach trip. A 20 minute bike ride put us in the company of a very friendly, welcoming staff, several... More

We stayed for 5 nights with Water and electric hookups. Only downside no sewer hookups, but they do have dump stations. The beaches in this property are fabulous. If you have young ones, there is a beach surrounded by jetty's making the water calm and shallow. Would highly recommend this park-word of warning, the good sites fill up fast, make... More

We did not camp at the park but rather took a day trip and stumbled across the state park gates. It was shell heaven!! It was also a step back in time and you can almost see the Indians that once called this land home. The beaches are quiet and full of shells. This will be a new tradition to... More

We stayed for 5 nights and had a waterfront site-absolutely breathtaking. Water and electric hookups. Only downside no sewer hookups, but they do have dump stations. The beaches in this property are fabulous. If you have young ones, there is a beach surrounded by jetty's making the water calm and shallow-no worrying they'll be swept out to sea. Bath houses... St. Andrews has the Grand Lagoon bay on one side of the camping sites and a Gulf of Mexico beach on the other. It's a wonderful public park, moderately priced with discounts. For Fitness Center I used the Gulf, the long jetty for fishing, the Grand Lagoon for boating, Shell Island for boating and exploring; plus all of Panama City.... More

This is a great park, very close to civilization--just in case your campfire cooking doesn't work out-- but not spoiled. The bath houses are cleaned every morning, so they are very clean in the mornings and early afternoons. Evenings are dicey, I guess because people don't clean up after themselves. The bath houses are cleaned at different times, so it's... More

We love this state park to visit for day trips. This time, we did a quick overnight stay in our trailer. The staff was nice. We used ReserveAmerica (dot com) to do the reservations, which are always well done. The restrooms were clean, and the dump station was tidy. The campground was full, but didn't feel crowded. The views from... More

Laid out very nicely. Wonderful views, nice & clean. Walked out on pier & saw dolphins, and sting rays in very clear blue water. Alligator pond but did not see any gators when we were there. Would definitely go back.

We camped the night before a tropical storm was coming to the area. The storm had scared away most of the campers so even though the campground looked booked online, there weren't many people. Due to previous heavy rains, some of the campsites were flooded. Fortunately, our site was dry & was facing the bay. The sandy soil allowed us... More
