We just returned from camping in our RV at Frog Creek RV Campground for the last 4 days and I must say...Wow! When we were pulling in to the grounds, I must admit I was a little hesitant, but believe me...looks can be deceiving. We were greeted at the main office and escorted to our site. Like some of the... We arrived and was escorted right to a space. Spaces are kind of tight. And the sewer connections are towards the back of the lots. Have to have a lot of sewer conections. But otherwise, swimming pool was nice and warm. Campers very friendly. Kind of old South feeling with the Spanish moss hanging from the trees. The restroom was... More

My husband and I have a Ford 150 van that we use for camping. He built a wood framed double bed with storage underneath. We have a privacy curtain and power cords to hook up for electric. After carefully explaining this in the phone, I was told sites were available. When we arrived, the clerk looked out the window and... More

We looked extensively for tent camping sites near the Bradenton area and finally stumbled upon this jewel of a campground in Old Florida and booked a primitive site for a week. It seems to be a favorite among RV campers, but we were the campground's only tent campers during the weekdays we stayed in April. I'm told we caught the... More

I just read the review that Frog Creek is not kid-friendly, and that has NEVER been my experience. My family (1 son) has stayed at Frog Creek the past 3 Marchs, and the staff and other campers have ALWAYS been kind and friendly to my family. Our first year, my son was 6 mo. This year, he is 2 1/2.... More

We found this park on the internet about 5 years ago when we were looking for a place to camp for a few weeks while visiting friends in Florida. We were drawn to the park when we saw the natural "Real Florida" atmosphere with Live Oak trees and the nature preserve. The dog park sealed the deal since we camp... More

We have been going to Frog Creek Campground for 12 or 13 years. The longest we've stayed is 3 months and the shortest is likely about 2 weeks. Frog Creek is a beautiful park with lots of natural beauty. The campsites are spacious. But the best part of all is the friendly atmosphere that permeates throughout the park, from management... We just bought a camper and we needed a place to store it for few weeks. I found this campground by accident on line and they were offering a "Summer Special" deal. We pay a monthly fee and we are allowed to keep our site, camper set up and get 8 nights of camping during the month. The rate is... More

Not A Kid Friendly Place At All. Staff Was Rude And called Us Bad Parents For Something Untrue Another Camper Said. Warning To Parents, Do Not Take You Kids, You Will Get Dirty Looks For Having Them. Bugs Were Horrible Also, I Don't Think They Spray And We Got Eaten Alive.

Upon entering, you are greeted by their friendly staff, sign one form and are led to your campsite. We stayed in their primitive section which had a beautiful tree canopy and the creek was beside it. In primitive we still had our own power and water, but the dirt will be on everything by the end. The bathrooms were a... More
