We stayed three nights the end of June. No hot breakfast was provided as listed on our reservation. Instead it was a limited continental breakfast. The last day which was on a Tuesday morning no Danish or cereal was even provided. The coffee was good is about all I can say positive about the complimentary continental breakfast. Hemmingway's never seemed... more

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway and we found it here. One of the priorities we were looking for was the ability to take our dog with us. No problem... just an additional $10 on the room rate. The whole place was clean and comfortable. I loved having a small refrigerator, free wifi, a large pool with hot... more

We have stayed at this motel before and I have always enjoyed it. This time it is under new mangement and is callled Lake Tarpon Resort. It is on a canal that leads out to Lake tarpon. The have a free hot breakfast in their newly opened restaurant served by a waitress, eggs and bacon with toast. It is a... more

We really enjoyed out stay. We were there from Feb. 28th through March 7th. During the eight day stay, the staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was clean and customer service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and had the answer to our questions. Would we stay there again?? ABSOLUTELY Cindy and Bill James more

I stayed in March of 09 and was very impressed with the new ownership of this hotel. We had a slight problem with the air and the maintainence man came promptly and fixed it. Views are great, birds, gators, lake, boats, etc.. There is a small gym (treadmill, bike, weights, adequate) a laundry room, pool, etc. The new restaurant, Hemingways,... more

We booked this hotel to be convenient to Clearwater for spring training and Tarpon Springs. The location was convenient for that, this is where the good news stops. Trying to check in at 5:00 pm - only one clerk behind the counter and eight people in line. Why would a hotel have one person to check people in at 'check... more

I booked this hotel thinking it was a "waterfront" property. If your idea of waterfront is a mud puddle dock area that is blocked in with cement, weeds and moss you will be happy. There is no way to enjoy the "water" unless you are in the pool. It has maybe six boats and absolutely no view of any "lake"... more

This is the 1st time we've been able to take a vacation to celebrate our anniversary in 5 or 6 yrs. After talking to a friend whose mom lives in nearby Dunedin, I was intrigued, researched the area, then tried to find the biggest bang for our buck & got a pkg from SW air that couldn't be beat for... more

Being that I travel 80% of the time for my company, I thought that the Best Western In Palm Harbor would be as nice as the other Best Western's that I have stayed in. Talk about not being true. The room smelled like it has never been cleaned or maybe what I smelled was the black mold growning in the... more

Check-in went smoothly and the staff was extremely friendly. The room had a balcony facing the water, but the trees blocked our view. Since there was no screen on the balcony, we wouldn't have spent much time out there anyway. Still, it is nice to have a large balcony off the room. :) The room was clean and housekeeping was... more
