Went for 44th anniversary. Learned about the Colony from friends that stayed there and were satisfied. Booked special two-nite stay ($500) which included dinner, cabaret show, breakfast, parking and $30 coupons for drinks, etc.. Staff very pleasant and helpful. My husband and I decided that we needed a relaxing weekend together, so we decided to drive to The Colony Hotel. Everyone there was very friendly, and we especially enjoyed the dancing on Friday night. They had an incredible band that played motown music, which brought back great memories !!!! Room was very dated and there was a bad smell in the hall. Needs renovation for the amount of money you pay. We were promised certain things that were not provided and when we questoned them to get our money refunded for the extras, they said it was not included to begin with. I stayed at the Colony in January 2008 and everything was wonderful, from the staff at the desk to the waiters in the Polo restaurant.
