Yea its not the Hilton, but my friends and I stay there every year for our Jet Ski ride in Jan. The Makai does not give us any problems and we dont bother the Mngmt. We use all the water hoses to rinse off our skis, This is a older hotel and everyone should know with older hotels you dont... more

I was amazed at how filthy this room was. There was dried vomit on the floor in the nasty uncleaned bathroom. There was someone's dirty underwear left on the balcony. Pubic hair on the soap in the shower. Double Gross!!!!!!! more

Do not be deceived by the photos online. This place is crumbly and icky. The outside looks like it is falling apart. The decor is like a thrift shop. Yes it is on the beach but you need to go inside some time and then...yuck. Spend more money and go somewhere that isnt creepy with mysterious drips. more

The first room we went into was a joke....ceiling falling down, door closer hanging off, etc. We were given another room,but it wasn't much better.
