I am a college coach and frequently travel for sporting events. We stay in many hotels throughout the year. I must say that the Hampton Inn Ormond Beach was by far the best professional overnight stay that I have had. The director of sales, Angela Payne-Jelenic, did a wonderful job of arranging our stay. We came to Ormond Beach for a softball tournament. Some of our team chose to stay @ the Hampton. We (we had 5 rooms) received a rate of $25.00 less. Used my Hilton Hhonors points for this stay with no problem. Room was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was fine. Enjoyed the free cookies and hot tea/coffee in the evening. My daughter liked the exercise room. Would stay here again. Close to I-95, places to eat and Wal-mart. more

Room was good and so was breakfast. Clean lobby, pool etc. BUT, when I booked it over the phone (for 5 nights), I asled the person that I'll be checking out little late (4:PM on 6th day). Just a word of warning, I booked the hotel via the hotels website (HiltonHonors) and used my credit card. I was expecting a late arrival so I called them at 12:00 on the day of my arrival and said that I would be in after 6:00 (when the release the reservations) it would probably be more like 9:00PM they said... more

In an attempt to avoid Hurricane Charley I called this hotel on Thursday, 08-12-04, and was quoted a price of 87.00 for a one night stay.
