Just got back from Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I chose Hampton Inn because it was close to Universal Orlando. Great location for Universal. Away from the traffic on International drive, but the I-Ride trolley stops in front of the hotel. A very quiet location. Good breakfast beforwe a day at the parks. Friendly staff with excellent service. Will stay again when returning to Orlando. more

Typical Hampton Inn room. The room was very clean. Excellent service. Always friendly. You could walk to Universal if you wanted to. (About a mile) They also had a free shuttle that also picked you up. The free breakfast was also very nice. If I went back to Orlando, definitely would stay again. more

This was yet another comfortable Hampton. They claim its the closest Hampton to Universal, and they are right, but there are several other closer hotels. Regardless, this one was just fine. Its not walkable though, as you'd have to cross over several 6 line highways to the entrance, plus walk from the driveway entrance all the way into the park.... more
