We just got back from 6 nights at the polynesian resort (disney), it is the first time we booked thru disney, and stayed in one of their resorts. We spent well over 8k for our family of four (food and air included) and were really expecting the resort to be amazing. It wasn't! First off, our air conditioning was broken... more

I wish my husband and I could have stayed here forever... We absolutely loved this hotel! We sent a fax 4 days before arriving and requested a room with a balcony which happily found out upon arriving we were given, on the third floor in the Fiji building, facing towards the Grand Floridian - a gorgeous view of the beach,... more

My husband and I stayed for five nights at this hotel while I was at a conference for business. Here are our thoughts… What we liked…. - Location, location, location…Magic Kingdom is a 5 minute monorail ride away (although we did not get a chance to visit on this trip). You could also take a boat ride to the MK.... more

This hotel is over priced for what you get. The rooms were nice, but the service was substandard. The people working at the front desk were rude. It took ten minutes of being on hold to place a room service order and another hour to receive the food. For a hotel at this price, I expected a lot more. I... more

We had a mixed impression of this resort. This was our second trip to Disney and our stay was not as pleasant as our last trip in April 2007 at the Carribean Beach Resort. We very much liked the Carribean Beach Resort, but picked the Polynesian as CBR was having a "major renovation" of the pool, and the Polynesian was... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel with our two young children. I've stayed in the Contemporary many times before, but this was our first stay at the Polynesian. I was not disappointed. I forgot how big the rooms are at the deluxes, which is great for the kids and your own sanity. Our building was located between the... more

The Polynesian resort is a fantastic place to stay for all your Disneyworld needs. I could not have been happier with the accomadations and convenience of the hotel. The place is big yet quiet. I could not get over the amount of rooms and lack of noise. It could be because it was October. We stayed in Rapa Nui so... more

This is our second time staying at the Polynesian Resort and loved it just as much as the first time. We were in the Figi the first visit in 2006 and now we were in Tokeleu and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The lighting was sufficient, the beds were comfortable and the soaps, shampoos and shower gels were... more

The resort welcomed us with open arm's.Our girls were asked to help check us in, they loved it. The Cafe Kona has a waitress her name is Theresa she was great we took a picture with her so we could remember her friendly face. Yes the rooms were a bit dated, but the cleaning staff not only cleaned the room... more

First - we arrived about 1 PM, and were told "while check in time is 3 PM, we can't guarantee room availability until between 3 PM and 5 PM." Sure enough, didn't get into our room until 4 PM. Our last visit was in September, and our room wasn't available until 4 PM that visit as well. If the check-in... more
