I live in Tampa and my friend and I (we are both female and in our early 20's) decided to go to Orlando for a week to go to the parks and all. We booked this hotel because we got a great spring discount. We checked in and went to our room, the carpet was pretty gross, the curtains and... more

After reading reviews from other guests, I was a bit leery -- but decided to go there anyway since I had stayed there in the past. (at least 2 years ago) Well, I was extremely happy I did. I found ABSOLUTLY nothing wrong with the hotel. Staff was wonderful and very knowedgeable about the area and attractions. Good trraining. Room... more

Okay, do you want to know a little unknown fact about this hotel. It is the Oldest in the Disney area/International drive. It was built when I-drive was dirt in the late Sixties. Years before Disney World was finished. It was then called Hilton Inn South. Now here's the irony. This hotel was managed (but now owned) by Disney to... more

Dirty, horrible customer service and add a daily resort fee for a shuttle I never needed or saw. When I showed up, the entire staff was out front hanging out like a bunch of street kids. When I went to the reservation desk, they mosied on it at their own pace and never once smiled. They were miserable and a... more

Well where do I start? This is, quite simply, the worst hotel EVER!! We arrived after a long 9 hour flight. We saw that the advetised restaurant was closed town. The "gardens" were tatty and everything was dead. All the plants were brown and dry. There were a group of 5 youths, what we in England call "hoodies", and they... more

I booked this room for one night on cheaprooms.com. Quoted rate was $30 and since it was just me, I figured that it would suit my needs. I WAS WRONG! From the outside, it looks decent. The lobby was clean although after taking a closer look, the restaurant here is closed, so if you look in the windows where the... more

We landed picked up our car drove to the Orlando 'Grand' Plaza and it looked ok to start with. We went in the lobby it was ok I suppose nothing special then we went in... more

My husband and I went to Orlando to spend our anniversary and valentine's weekend. When we got there, the outside looked beautiful. The lobby was perfect, the pool etc.. ONce we got in the room, a disaster!!! We tried 4 rooms!! The first one, on the bathroom floors, there were "curly hairs", the bathtub was nasty and there was a... more
