Called ahead and was given king bed on high floor as requested. Front desk was friendly and welcomed me as Hilton Honors Member. Went down stairs for something to take upstairs for dinner. Hostess sent me to bar where I was ignored by bartender. went back to hostess who asked why I didn't go to bar??Walked to Citrus two blocks... More

Although we are glad that we could accommodate your requests for a king bed on a high floor and that you found our front desk personnel to be friendly, it was disappointing that not every aspect of your stay was as positive. Please accept our sincerest apologies for the dining issues you encountered, we will share your comments with the... More

Because of the only available room, we were given the handicap room. The bedroom was fine, but the oversized heavy (steel?) door wouldn't stay open, no bathroom vent, tiny amenity shelf, hard to flush, no clothes hooks, NO place in shower to place soap, etc., flat shower floor so half the water didn't drain properly. We changed rooms after two... More

I was pleasantly surprised by my recent stay at this DoubleTree. I read reviews about a noisy train, unclean rooms, and undisclosed parking fees. When I booked the reservation on the Hilton website, I was advised about the $17 self-parking fee and was prepared for it. Just click on the "Rate Details" details link and you'll clearly see the options... More

Hotel is tired and needs an update. The doors to the rooms are extremely loud which is very unfortunate when you have a sleeping 4 month old. There were too few electrical outlets and the ones that were there were overloaded. I had a handicapped bathroom and it was difficult to prevent water from covering the bathroom floor. Also there... 1. Dated old hotel which smells old for whatever reason 2. Parking outrageously exorbitant at $18 for the night and not in center city Orlando 3. Attendants at front desk not well informed about their community and neighbor Winter Park 4. I do not plan on stopping overnight on business here again. Does not compare competitively with nearby competition even... More

The folks at the front desk are very nice. My room was pretty noisy, but I knew what to expect from other reviews; it is a downtown hotel after all, next to a train tracks. But the walls were thin, I could hear the phone ringing in an adjacent room. The standard room was spacious, and the Priceline deal was... More

Hallway carpets were dirty, there was hair on my shower curtain, walls in bathroom had paint chipping off of it. Not what I expect from a Hilton Hotel However, Front desk staff was extremely helpful and pleasant to interact with.

I kind of laughed when I saw the box of earplugs laid out with the shampoo on a recent one night stay for work. Around 2am, I realized they were not just a novelty. And again at 3am...and 4 am. The train is loud. The train whistle louder. The view of the tracks from my 15th floor room directly overlooked... More

This is a nice hotel, great rooms and convenient location. It is geared more toward the business traveler and not tourist.
