We stayed at the Howard Johnson in June after booking through fly globespan. It was amazingly cheap, we just wanted a cheap last minute holiday and couldn't beleive how little it cost to go to Florida. After reading all the bad reviews online we were a bit worried but there were no problems at all apart from the shuttle buses.... more

the location is good, you can walk to wet and wild and many restaurants and bars on international drive. The parks are a short drive. we got the bus provided by the hotel to the parks but this was usually late and full up of people. sometimes we waited for it but wondered if we would even get on it.... more

There are many mixed reviews of this hotel. Having just returned home after spending 2 weeks here, this was my experience. The free shuttle to Disney, Universal and Sea World was great - although the bus does visit several other hotels on the way. My advice would be to take the I-Ride trolley if you're going to Sea World and... more

I recently stood at the Howard Johnson from May 13-17th. When we got there we were treated wonderfully. The staff is friendly and The hotel rooms are clean and spacious. They also had two pools (one for the kiddies) which were heated. Also a fitness and game room and even a continental breakfast. The hotel is an ideal spot because... more

We arrived in Orlando late in the evening, and wanted to get as fast to the hotel as possible. Since the Howard Johnson doesnt have a airport shuttle we decided to go with a taxi, which costs us $44 which i thought was really expensive because it was not that far.. We found out later that there are local busses... more

My wife and I arrived at midnight to the hotel. The hotel is right off of the international drive strip and was easy to find. The lobby was an interesting site with a wide opening to the outside world. The hotel is located right next to the expressway and I would suggest getting a poolside room if you are going... more
