I'm not sure many think of Bay Hill as the place to stay when visiting Orlando for a non-golf related trip, but it's hard to find better value. Especially for Florida residents that get a discounted rate, Bay Hill offers private club like atmosphere and service for a price far less than the touristy four star hotel competitors in the... My wife and I stayed at Bay Hill to golf at the course Arnie owns. First you must understand this is a relatively small facility and is a Country Club so get get the feel of dropping in on a private course. The rooms could probably stand some updating, but they were ok. You can eat in the dinning room... More

Small in size (70 rooms) and "club cozy" in all public areas. we really felt like we were guests at a country club more than guests at a hotel. The Clubhouse is actually the hotel area with two dining rooms and a nice bar area. Pool area is wonderful with separate casual dining at poolside. te staff does everything to... More

Bucket list golf weekend for husbands and we were all surprised on how much we liked it. Breakfasts were very good as well as lunch on our last day. Staff was incredible and room and bathroom were very nice. Centrally located. Although bucket list was fullfilled I think we shall be back..... The only thing I missed was the security... More

Although we had a comfortable stay, we have stayed at better places in the area. We are not golfers, but did find the lodge satisfactory. The lodge is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood. It did lack some of the extra amenities we are use to in the room. Just your normal amenities found at a hotel. No safe,... More

Everything about our holiday was fantastic!!! we stayed as a family of three from the 18th Aug till the 1st Sept and the trip was perfect. The staff were great and so helpful. The rooms were lovely and very comfortable (Only slight disadvantage was that they didn't have a fridge or a safe). Fixtures and fittings were first class and... More

This was our first stay here, what a wonderful place. We do not play golf, we came to Orlando to go to the parks. It did have the feel of an old mountain lodge, the décor was old fashion, but our room was impeccably clean, housekeeping was excellent!! At most other Orlando hotels you always hear people coming in/out at... More

I recently came back from a 5 night stay at what I consider one of the finest golf resort/hotels in the country. To say that I am biased in making this assessment is an understatement as I have been coming down to Bay Hill on a regular basis since 1970. This year I was joined by 13 other gentlemen including... My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights last weekend. I believe in stating all the positives first. So, I loved the old mountain lodge feel and the rooms/bathrooms were nicely done. There was also a lovely balcony. The first thing that we noticed initially walking into the room was how moist the air was. The towels wouldn't even dry... More

We have stayed at Bay Hill a number of times the past. Again we have found the lodge and spa to be excellent and the staff polite and helpful. The golf course was in good condition, the only down side was some rain in the afternoon that said i had a great time and will return again.
