I haven't been to Fort Wilderness since I was a little girl. My husband and I bought a pop-up this year partly so that we could take our kids to Disney, but save a ton on lodging. Plus, we like to camp. I was more than impressed. We were in the 1500 loop, which happens to be directly across the... More

This was our 2nd time to fort wilderness. We stayed in our camper both times with our grandchildren. All of us love it here. There's so much to do in the campground you don't even have to leave. And everyone is so nice and friendly! We can't wait to go back!

We took our motor home for a three week stay, arriving the day after Thanksgiving 2014. It was a great time, crowd wise, to go. Of course, as you would expect with Disney, everything was spotless. We were in the 1700 loop, which is a full hookup area and it was just a short, pleasant stroll from The Meadows store,... More

We recently had the first of what is going to be an annual tradition as we're already booked for next year. Went my son's Cub Scout Pack and I think everyone agreed this was the best campout we've done so far. The campsite is nice, separated enough from the regular loops to not be staring at the motorhomes but close... More

I absolutely love this place. There is really nothing comparible in the US. The grounds are beautiful and spotless. The campsites extremely generous in size with natural barriers between campsites that give you privacy from your neighbors. Free transportation anywhere within DIsney. Plenty to do on any given day or nite. We traveled with our 22 year old college student... More

We have stayed at the Fort for all 3 soon to be 4 trips to Disney World, we stay in the premium sites in our Class A motor home, you will not be disappointed! I love that I can bring my furbabies with me and know they are totally safe while we are hanging out at the park. :) Dog... More

Love this place so much to do. Once you get there you don't have to get in your car, buses take you everywhere. It is shaded bathhouses are always clean. They do a movie every night under with the campfire. Trails End breakfast is expensive but great. Its Disney what more could you want?

Everything was clean, well kept. Deer greeted us upon arrival. Busses to Disney Parks very easy to figure out and wait not long at all. Be sure and go to the beach at night and watch the fireworks they shoot off from Magic Kingdom.

Gotta love a disney trip!!! Way to ring in 2015. Staying in the Wilderness Homes at Ft Wilderness is the best. Great for families - transportation around the parks covered and plenty of room for extended or multi-families.

Ft Wilderness is an excellent campground with great amenities and easy access to all of Disney's Parks. The Hoop de Do Revue at Pioneer Hall was a lot of fun although the food was not that great the show was super. As with most everything at Disney World, it was expensive and the one downside was the noise level after... More
