Unfortunately, there are times when a guest books through a third party (online travel agency, etc...) that the hotel is unable to make changes or refunds. We do what we can to accommodate all of our guests and assist when problems with billing, etc..arise. If the third party advises us how to proceed, we must abide by this.
My stay would have been fine in this hotel, but about a month after I got home, we got bed bugs. This is the only hotel I've stayed at in the last 6 months so they had to come from here. At the Holiday Inn Main Gate East Hotel, we value our guests opinions. After researching bed bugs we found that the symptoms that a bitten person would encounter occur almost immediately. Bed bugs can be carried in suit cases and on clothing and can be picked up anywhere. We haven't had any confirmed cases of bed bugs at our hotel...
