We stayed here for a few days in a studio villa before heading over to Vero Beach. Our 3 year old enjoyed the twin sized murphy bed - especially the bambi artwork. The highlight of the trip was the newly renovated splash pad. Its a great design - finally some water slides for the preschool set! Our son spent hours... More

As DVC Members, we have stayed at most of the resorts, but this is by far our favorite. The lobby is incredible, feeling as though you have stepped into the most beautiful lodge in the Pacific Northwest. Check in was a breeze as I was greeted at the entrance by name and welcomed at the front desk. At 8:30 a.m.,... More

As a local we are always trying to find a place that makes Christmas in Orlando special. We always go to this hotel because of the decorations and the wonderful fireplace in the lobby. We completely forget that it is usually in the 70's outside;

We stayed 4 nights. It was beautiful. I love the smell of the resort. The pools are nice and the property is set up lovely. My only complaint is that to go from the villas to the main building if you have to walk through the smoking section. There is a longer way to go, but if it is raining... More

The Wilderness Lodge and Villas were a great getaway spot. What struck me the most was the wooded private feel of the grounds located so close to the Magic Kingdom. The Kingdom is just out of sight and makes it a great short bus or ferry ride to the park. The Villa Suites were nice, however you can get a... More

Staying here you get all the amenities of the Wilderness Lodge, which is just steps away from the rooms at the Villas. Many of the rooms are larger and can accommodate large groups. Food in the Wilderness Lodge is great and the proximity to the Magic Kingdom allows for quick transportation and more dining options along the monorail. Overall, a... More

As DVC members, this was our first visit to the Villas at Wilderness Lodge. We stayed in a studio at the very end of the property. Even though it was a "longer" walk from the elevators, it was worth it because it was VERY quiet! We had more room in this studio versus Grand Floridian. We loved the theme of... More

This was my second visit to the Wilderness Lodge DVC villas, and my husbands first. Overall,it is a beautiful property! We stayed on the top floor in a corner unit and loved everything except the bed. With both of my experiences there, the beds were way below my expectations for the price and level of the resort. A highlight of... More

Our room, on the wooded side of the building that is also used for Disney Vacation Club members, had a peaceful view from the balcony. There's a fireplace and seating area on the lower level and log cabin style construction with an atrium adding to the beautiful natural ambience. The room had a queen bed and queen sofa bed with... This was our first stay in the Wilderness area. It had the feel of being out in the wilderness, but had the option of taking a boat to the Magic Kingdom. The views from the balcony were very pretty, with pine trees and manicured landscaping. We saw small rabbits, lizards, and even a deer near the parking area. One night,... More
