I and several other families that I spoke with during our 4 night stay, agreed that this was the absolute worst place that we ever stayed as far as customer service and simple considerations for guest. we checked in a family of 4, only to have 2 wash rags and towels for the entire duration of our stay. I tried... more

Just got back from a week at the Country Inn and Suites, Calypso Cay, and after reading some of the other reviews, we were nervous to say the least about what we were getting ourselves into. We travelled there with a 13 year old, a 7 year old, and an 18 month old, so we are all too familar with... more

First off i'd like to start out by saying that i would have never imagined that a place that was supposed to be a resort and providing hospitality was anything but. First off when we arrived to check in and was given our room that by the way was paid for in advance for over 3 months was untterly discusting.... more

We found this place online through a website that has different deals for listening to timeshare presentations. Financially, it was a good deal since we paid only $80 a night and received two adult two day tickets to Disney and two adult passes to one of the water parks for attending the timeshare presentation. However, we wouldn't go back, even... more

I have no idea what some of the bad reviewers are talking about when they say shabby or dirty. First of all, let me say that I have stayed in $200-$300+ a night hotels and no, Country Inn does not have antique furniture or $400 flower arrangements in the lobby. If you want that, go to the Ritz and be... more

First, the towels were old. The patio view was of a major highway with about 10 a/c units under that made constant noise. So, forget sitting on the patio. There was no security outside and our car tires were slashed, along with about 7 other cars in the lot. There is no gym - that is in a separate facility.... more

The worst hotel I ever saw. We had to pay for room service and towels. Instead of 2 hours presentation it took 4 hours, they screwed up our day. Never again. Rude and nasty ppl are working there. They have no appreciation for their customers. more

After reading all the bad reviews, I was a bit worried about our vacation to Calypso Cay. We were housed in a one bedroom villa which was big, clean and the staff were very helpful. We went on the timeshare seminar but there was absolutely no pressure on us to buy. They were very polite and still gave us our... more

ok it isn't the nicest rooms in the world. but they were clean. the pools were great, an unbeleivable breakfast and the staff could not be more accomodating. rooms were really cheap and felt very safe. the mattresses were also unbeleivable more

We are currently stuck here at the Calypso Cay "Villas". Let me begin by saying that these units should be labeled glorified hotel rooms DEFINITELY NOT villas! Secondly, if hospitality from the front desk is what you are looking for...aaahhhh not going to get it here and GOD FORBID if you ask the front desk at the hotel a question... more
