This was quite possibly the worst hotel experience we have had. The first impression was bad enough, with renovations of the entrance and extremely poor customer service from the Front Desk. We had to greet them - no hello, welcome - nada. Next - we were only at check-in informed that all rooms are non-smoking, and if we smoked in... more

This must be my best hotel bargain to date. A clean and quiet suite equipped with a very pleasant workspace, mini-fridge and microwave, a good firm bed, an incredibly polite and helpful staff, hot breakfast, free bottles of spring water upon arrival, free wireless Internet, and free coffee anytime: All for less than what I've paid for parking my car... more

Arrived waiting to see which hotel we would get. The one with complaints about it or a great one. We got the later with a few surprises. Our roon was on the 5th floor next to the elevator which made me a little leary of noise. It proved to be unfounded as I never heard it except for a very... more

We hadn't planned on going to the Amerisuites. We were 'rescued' from an appallling dump by our British travel agents and found it to be a haven ! The rooms were spotless. Staff were friendly and helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful. The pool was clean and warm and inviting. The only minus for us was that we had... more

I use tripadvisor a lot to plan my holidays, so, as one of the previous reviewers I booked this hotel due to the great reviews I had read. I read about all the refurbishment and it looked great. We were there on august 24 and they were doing work all over the lobby, so that did not look good but... more

We stayed there for honeymoon and spent a week. Good location near universal and many restaurants (walking distances). Free and safe parking lot. Not friendly front desk and staff. Spacious room, w/ king bed, microwave, old minibar, hair dryer and silent air conditioning. There was a pool, but small. Breakfast included but closed about 9:30 am, as we stayed late... more

My husband and I stayed here April 2-5, 2007 for our honeymoon. I choose the location so we were close to Universal, which you could easily walk to (about a mile from the hotel) if you want to save on the $10 parking fee. When we arrived it took less than 5 minutes for check in. Our room had been... more

We just returned from a quick overnight to Orlando. After reading the wonderful reviews of this property on tripadvisor decided to give it a try. Once I saw the room we were assigned I refused to stay here and found another hotel. The room had been refurbished but it smelled very musty the minunte you opened the door, very dark... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night in early June. I wish my trip had allowed me to stay longer--it was a delightful room. I paid $89 with a AAA discount. As has been mentioned by others, Hyatt is introducing a new label (Hyatt Place). They are buying many existing AmeriSuites and remodeling them. The Orlando staff told me... more

Spent a week at this hotel on business in room 423. Property is under rennovation and will be renamed the Hyatt Studio or something like that. I stayed in one of the already redecorated rooms which was great. Very spacious (has a separate sitting area), well appointed (granite countertops, 42" plasma tv), and clean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful.... more
