Overall, the hotel is overpriced and the rooms are small for what you get for the price. My main problem with this resort is the bus service. I've stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge several times over the years, with the goal of being close to Animal Kingdom park. Yet for some reason, they seem to have the SLOWEST bus service... More

This hotel is the best disney hotel we have stayed in. Fantastic outlook, friendly staff especially in the gift shop where they are happy to make you feel so welcome. The rooms are a nice size, light and cleaned everyday. Plenty to do swimming, gym with saunas, night vision goggles to watch animals in the savannah , amazing restaurants that... More

Very nice room. The beds were very comfy and the room was clean. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the animals. Loved watching the Giraffes and Zebras from our balcony each day! Boma was DELICIOUS! We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The lobby is stunningly beautiful and so cozy! Loved the pool. The hotel staff were extremely nice and... More

Although the resort was nice but really worth the money to stay there, the best thing at the resort was the tour they offered for the resorts guest called the Wanyama safari tour. You get to drive around the resort see all of the animals that they take care of and then have dinner at Jiko. Very informative and enjoyable,

Just brilliant; a little further away than the other hotels for the Disney parks but brilliant. Loved the animals in the grounds. The rooms were lovely and big. The restaurant on site was nice. Plenty of buses going to the Disney parks.

We have just returned from a short stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Although this is a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel, it feels more like a three star. The African theme is well done, but the overall effect is dark and depressing with dark wood, dark carpets and lighting so dim in the public areas and restaurants that a torch... More

We stayed in Kidani Village and really enjoyed every moment. I love pretty much every Disney hotel, so I am an easy audience for them, but I think this one stands out because of the animals. It's hard to imagine that there's any other resort in the US that has giraffes, zebras, and ostriches outside of your room. :) Also... More

My experience is fantatic. I think the first day it' going to be another African Culture Lodge or similar hotel with couple of Africa things. But the reality is this Hotel is Amazing, they put all their efforts to make you feel like if youre visiting a Luxury Resort in Africa but inside the United Stated. I have no space... More

This deluxe WDW hotel is one of our favorites. A must if you are a foodie; it also functions as a mini version of animal kingdom also. I would caution you if you are booking here and plan to spend most of your time at Magic Kingdom this may not be your best choice due to its distance from the... More

Loved this place, worth the upgrade for animal view. we were able to see zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, wild rabbits etc. every day. The hotel was clean, cozy. Nice dining options. Glad we decided to switch it up (we usually stay in Epcot area). Only downfall is that it's the only deluxe resort that you have to bus to every theme... More
