The lodge is very nice. The rooms were spacious and gorgeous. Loved looking out in the morning and at night from our balcony and seeing the different animals. Very relaxing after a long day of play at the different parks. The staff was courtesy and friendly. The room was also clean. Not much I can say bad other than I... More

We are a family of four traveling to Disney for the first time. To say the least, planning for Disney is overwhelming, the Animal Kingdom Lodge was an absolute oasis for us. Lodging: We stayed in a bunk bed room (kids are 4 and 8) overlooking the sunset savannah; which was perfect. I wouldn't spend more for the Arusha view,... More

Wonderful visit- great staff, animals were awesome. Wonderful place for kids. Great pool and playground. Easy access to the parks. Nice place to relax with access to good food. Great gift shop if you forget to get something in the park. Quiet- even with a ton of kids

Views are great.rooms were nice customer service could be better. Situations were caused due to lack of communication on behalf of front desk, bell service and housekeeping. Employee's on the phone attitude was not good. Talked to manager issues were compensated but still left sour taste in mouth. So just be aware. Majority of employees were helpful. Put on Do... More

This is a beautiful hotel that offered exactly that Disney said it would--animals right outside your balcony. Like all Disney properties, it was spotless, welcoming, and friendly. The room was great. The lobby is awesome. It is an all around great place to stay. Drawbacks (and they are minor) quick service food options are limited to the small Mara location,... More

Our second stay in this hotel, we love the theming and setting. Rooms are adequate size and layout worked well for us with the sinks being outside of main bathroom. Pool was nice although beds are laid next to each other so each person very limited for space. I was also disappointed with the amount of building work taking place... More

We just spent four fantastic days here. We booked a "pool view with bunk beds" and did on-line check in. We arrived late at night and were very disappointed when we opened the door and found two queen beds and no bunk beds. I called the front desk and they apologized saying they were oversold on bunk bed rooms and... More

My husband, daughter and I stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for 10 days. It was our first trip to Disney together and we had a fabulous time. Luckily, having read some reviews about the property before we left, I wasn't expecting a truly 'deluxe' hotel which is what Disney markets it as. Just as well: if you are looking... More

I rented a one bedroom villa for two nights approximately $1,000.00 US which was nicely sized however I found everything very dark. The resort is isolated and far from everything. I asked for a lower floor room and received a top floor. I was traveling with two infants and the walk from the lobby/bus to the room was ridiculous! The... More

The jambo house lodge was incredible. We stayed in a 3 br suite which faced the area with zebras, giraffe's, gazelle, etc. There were several restaurant choices and the pools and hot tubs were great. The buses from the lodge bring you anywhere within Disney world.
