My wife and I stayed here for 5 nights in March and it was incredible! Arrival - Typical Disney style. Hopped on a bus at the airport and was driven to the resort. About an hour drive in a comfortable air-conditioned bus. Check-in - Went very fast. From the time we entered the resort to the time we were in... more

This review is going to be pretty short and sweet, as there's nothing much we could fault. I am 20 and I travelled with my girlfriend who was 18 during the stay for a birthday holiday to see all the parks across Orlando. We were pleasantly surprised with our experience of our Disney Stay. For a start, as hotels go... more

Check in--Check in was quick and easy. We had made arrangements through AAA and everything was ready for us. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. They were very attentive to our 8 and 5 year old sons, asking them if it were their first visit to DisneyWorld or if we were celebrating birthdays, anniversaries or any other special occasion.... more

I must first say, this place is amazing. My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here for seven nights, eight days during the end of June. I will never forget the look on my daughter's face. Her eyes got so big in excitment. Right away as we pulled up, someone rushed to help us. He loaded our bags up,... more

As we were driving over a bridge we could see the hotel and I knew it was going to good but I was mistaken...it was amazing! Walking into the lobby for the first time was fantastic, the staff and theming are brillant. The room was again brill, the view we had was of the sunset safari and we always had... more

Where else can you look our your window and see zebras grazing? My sisters and I took our mother here for a "big girls only" trip and it was perfect. This resort is the farthest out, so be forwarded that buses may be a bit slow. We didn't have any trouble, but we also went at a slow time of... more

From the moment we got off the bus, until the moment we left for home, this place offered the best in accommodations, service, ambiance, and atmosphere. We are in the upper fifties age bracket and were traveling with our son, his wife and a 5 year old. Although for us it was a very expensive trip, it is one that... more

My wife and I stayed here during our first trip to Disney World. We stayed a total of six nights since we were both receiving a free 5 day park hopper with water parks pass. We flew in on Sunday evening and the Magical Express picked us up. About 15 minutes after we got into our room (which was just... more

Our trip to the Animal Kingdom Lodge got off to a bumpy start initially. We booked a Savannah View Room in Jambo House but not one of the Disney Vacation Club rooms (the 5th and 6th floors of Jambo House are DVC rooms). We had never stayed at the AKL before and were very excited at the idea of the... more

Everything about this hotel was first rate. Our room was fantastic, always clean when we would return from the park, and no request of the housekeeping staff was ever denied. The savannah is in full view and animals are seen at all hours. The busses run about every 15 minutes both to and from the park. AKL is the furthest... more
