I am a Florida resident and have stayed at numerous resorts. This is not a resort!!! It's a condo with tissue paper walls and a pool. If you want a secluded resort that feels as comfortable as home this is your place. We were a little leery because we hadn't heard of this resort , the pictures looked nice so we went for and and was highly pleased. This place is the best! Clean, welcoming, friendly staff, quiet....can't say enough! The ONLY complaint that I had was no cartoon channels for the kids. 10-15 min from amusement parks and somewhat off the beaten path so your not getting stuck with a bunch of disney traffic and such. We just stayed at Palisades for a week long baseball tournament. 9 families... great place rooms are extremly large, very clean .. I would recommend this resort to anyone staying in Orlando. it was about 15mins to the parks maybe shorter depending on traffic ( a straight shot to the parks) plenty of resturants and shopping. the pool is alittle... more

The 2 bedroom suite was filthy and the staff totally unprofessional. If you want your room turned, it's an extra $20. For a one year old hotel, the mattress was of the cheapest quality (in both bedrooms). Being on the 3rd floor we could hear the guests above us walking to the bathroom and flushing the toilet and their beds... more

I found the Palisades Resort on line and got a great rate for a 3 br suite.When we arrived the service was excellent from the front desk check-in until time of departure.The location was great,near stores and the expressway.I had 6 young men with me and they never got bored. more

The insulation is a really problem in this location. You can hear the people speaking thru the ceiling !!!
