We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside for 7 nights from July 1st-July 8th. This was our first visit to Disney World so we really didn't even take advantage of all the resort had to offer because we were in the parks. The grounds are so beautiful & I loved seeing the rabbits. You could walk right up to them &... more

Stayed one week, followed by week on I-drive to get the best of both worlds. Staying in Disney accommodation is great so you avoid driving, no parking issues, can stay late in the parks on some nights - best was the extra evening hours at Epcot - gave you extra time to walk round the world and take extra rides... more

been reading some of the reviews and whilst all are allowed their own opinion I must just say that I stopped here last year with my husband and two teenage daughters (16 & 15) and had such a great time that when I arrived home in England I booked up straight away and I'm back Aug 27 for 2 weeks... more

during our stay the 3 nights free really compensated for the dining plan....with 3 small kids the chioces were limited.... very time consuming just to make the reservations...all that money just to have my 3 yr old eat nothing!!!!the magical expresswas also a letdown ,lost a minimum 1hr. just going to all other hotels... POR was nice but the room... more

If you want to stay on the Disney property to take advantage of some of the Disney resorts' "extras" this is a good value. But don't expect anything special in the rooms. We benefited from the "Extra Magic Hours" offered to resort guests, and this made it worthwhile. The sheer magnitude of this place amazed me. The buildings are all... more

We are local to Orlando but decided to take a stay-cation at Disney, this of course included staying at POR. We paid for 4 nights and after 2, we checked out early. Cons of hotel: *Double beds are TOO small (3 words Disney "QUEEN PILLOW TOP") *Maid service was a joke. By 2 pm the 2nd day of visit, the... more

My family of 5 stayed at the POR resort for 4 nights in late June/early July. We were located in building #27 in the Alligator Bayou section. It was pretty close to the food court and South bus depot. Room was very clean except for a little dust on a few things. Small stain on one curtain. Lighting in the... more

This hotel is WONDERFUL for relaxion! I am a native Floridian and I visit this hotel several times per year with family and friends. I can't understand why anyone would leave a negative review about this hotel; everyone that I speak to that has been there loves it! The resort grounds are totally gorgeous. Everything is always freshly landscaped and... more

We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside room # 9202 (Oak Manor) for 2 nights with our teenage boys. The full size BEDS are too small!! Need to update to Queen size. The room was outdated, and over priced at $200 a night, but we decided to stay there for the MAGICAL experience, which we never seen. It was VERY difficult... more

We had stayed there in years past ... It was much better then ... it appears as though the bad economy has perhaps reached Disney .... never thought that would happen. The staff was friendly ... our rooms were decent size and were plenty big for two teenagers, one child and one adult. We found an empty water bottle on... more
