If you are going to go to Universal Studios, this is the place to stay. You are conveniently close to the parks AND you get a fast pass for the parks if you stay here. Such a great value! It would cost the same to stay at an offsite hotel and buy the fast pass. The fast pass allows you... More

My grown daughter and I went for a 5 day bonding experience and had the time of our lives! Our room was ready when we arrived at 12 noon. Everyone who worked at the hotel helped us when we had questions. I became fast friends with everyone on the concierge team. They were super friendly and knowledgeable. Our room was... More

We stayed at Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando for three nights. We brought my teen daughter and a friend, so we requested and received connecting rooms. We also opted for club level rooms. We arrived a little after noon knowing that our rooms likely wouldn't be ready, and they weren't. We did get our hotel keys, though, and... More

We arrived at this hotel very early in the morning after leaving a cruise ship. We were able to leave our luggage and do a pre check-in in order to print our front of line passes for Universal. I would say that the cost of the hotel was worth it alone for these passes alone. Our room was of a... More

booked a room on last-minute whim so we could take our 14 and 12 year old daughters to Universal since they had never been and it had been over 10yrs since my wife and I had visited there. With a FL resident discount the rooms were just over $200/night. Given that this includes a "Universal eXpress" pass that gets you... More

My family and i have stayed at each one of the Universal Resorts and this is our favorite. It has a less 'phoney' feel than the others and has a real South Pacific feel to it. The front desk staff and the wait staff at the pool do a FANTASTIC job!

Overall theme in the hotel was great. Very nice staff and great service It was easy to come to and from during the day when the Kids got tired. Water Taxi service helped too. Being onsite with early park admission was great Jake's restaurant was a bit lacking but the Islands restaurant was great. Our Room are a bit small... More

I booked this hotel along with our tickets to Universal Studios & Islands of Adventure theme parks through the Disney Vacation website. I actually called to book with a person and found the entire process to be pretty seamless; the reservations specialist answered my many questions. Unlike Disney there was no need to make reservations for dining in advance. This... More

If you are expecting an updated facility that is comfortable, please don't bother. The beds were less than desirable, not very large and uncomfortable. The furnishings were dated and well used. There wasn't enough wall outlets. The bathrooms are tiny. The onsite self parking was insufficient and was completely full with people parking in non-parking spots just to park. The... More
