Port Orleans (both French Quarter and it's sister property Riverside) are a great value for the Disney experience without blowing the bank on something like French Polynesia or Grand Floridian. Port Orleans is very close to the Magic Kingdom (via bus ride), so it really saves a lot of time over some of the other resorts. We've stayed at the... More

This is a really nice resort with standard rooms and a great pool! The rooms can be spread out, which can require some walking. The whole resort was a welcomed quiet retreat to escape the bustle of the parks. The trade off is the bus transportation is also joined up with the riverside which really extends the bus travel time... More

My wife and I have traveled to WDW every year for 6 years and have stayed at POFQ for 4 of the visits. We can not express how much we love this resort. The cast members have always been very helpful. The food court is unique and for it just being quick service meals not too bad. The rooms are... More

My wife and I booked an impromptu trip to Disney World and after asking some friends and checking reviews we settled on Port Orleans French Quarter. We got a corner room in Building 7 which we found to be very quiet. The resort was probably at about 2/3-3/4 capacity as this was a week before the start of "spring break"... More

Spent 10 days here on family vacation. Second trip to Disney World. Pretty grounds, room was nice for the moderate range, very nice on site restaurant and store. Seemed like we spent more time on the bus from this location. Completely worth the upgrade from the budget hotels. Kids didn't use the pool at this location as much, seemed to... More

We recently stayed here for a quick family trip while my husband was working in Orlando. We stayed in a room with a River view which was fun to watch the Carriage rides and boats go by. Pros: 1)The hotel was very clean and our housekeeper left a hidden Mickey in the room each day she cleaned, 2)The theme of... More

It's a gem which is centrally located to all the parks (closest to Downtown Disney). Transportation is either the bus or the riverboat (to downtown Disney). Buildings 1,5, 6 are quietest since they were away from the pool. The pool is very nice for under 15 year olds. The beds are comfortable. Nice bathroom area (double sinks and lots of... More

Having never gone to Walt Disney World, we weren't sure what to expect at any resort. We were very pleased with the French Quarter. We were in building #4 which was perfect. We were close to the food court, the bus transportation and the pool. Our bed was very comfortable, plenty of dresser space and was happy with the double... More

Stayed here 3/21-3/28 for spring break. Staff was awesome. Had a great room location in building 5 facing the green where the nightly movies are shown. Room was adequate and had plenty of space for the 4 of us, as we stayed pretty organized. Very close to pool and busy stop. Food court good during off hours but very crowded... More

We've stayed here several times before but it had been about 4 years. I forgot how much I love this hotel. It's smaller property than the other moderate so less walking to all the areas you use frequently. There are gardens and flowers everywhere. Even the buildings are beautiful. We took advantage of the boat to Downtown Disney, used the... More
