Disney's Grand Floridian is quite rightly considered the jewel in the crown of Disney resorts. Arrived from New York just before Christmas to a very warm welcome, lobby all decked out in festive decorations and Celine Dion singing live. the setting was very nice the pool area was my favorite it was open 24 hours a day you cuold also watch the firework from the park off of your balcony in your suite ! The service ammenties and transportation was veryvery good! more

The Grand Floridian is old time elegant with a comfortable atmosphere. Arrived at Amtrak station and took the Happy Limo to and from the hotel. We love Disney, and this is certainly Disney's nicest resort on the Monorail, but it is slipping, and has been for a while. We were in awe the moment we arrived at this beautiful resort. Everyone was so attentive to our needs, the entire resort was clean and beautiful, and we enjoyed every minute! I am extremely impressed with the ambiance and the clean smell that greeted us every time we entered our building and we didn't notice loud "neighbors" in other rooms.... more

Rated it highly but was disappointed as this is Disney's flagship property. Preferred the amenities and location of the Polynesian, even though the Grand Floridian cost much more. more
