Overall, the Hotel and grounds are nice. Service and food were good. I stayed in Room 9522 (somewhat of a view to Disney fireworks). The room size is acceptable but the bathroom size is very small. The direct access to the monorail was the best feature of this hotel.

Our third stay here over ten years or so. Some report declining service and standards others note how the hotel has moved with the times. Without hesitation we are in the second group. The rooms are basically the same without some of the previous frills but as we don't come on holiday to admire the stationery or wallpaper that's not... More

I got a great rate to go to Disney for a conference and it included 3 nights at the Grand Floridian. That said - i did not pay the $500/night price tag. :-) The hotel was nice and the beds were comfortable. The staff was exceptional - beyond polite & friendly - superb. The hotel is a bit noisy -... This is my 4th time to stay here. Each time I have been a little less happy. Workers are just not friendly. Room service is absolutely non existent . And we know after a long day at parks you would love to have room. Service in your pjs. I ask about late check out which I know is not guaranteed... More

It hurts me to write this story. I have visited WDW 20 times since 1972. I have watched as it has grown from Walt and Roy’s dream – from when it was only the Contemporary and the Polynesian until now where there are 26 Disney properties. I have been there as an adult and with children. I was there the... More

Travelling for business to Disney World without your family never sounds like a good idea until the event is held at a WDW Resort. It's a high-end resort where if you have to ask what things cost, then you should've stayed somewhere else. Every thing was expensive. The rooms. The food. The souvenirs. Every. Thing. But that's OK... It's Disney... More

All of my visits to Disney I really wanted to stay at this resort. It was amazing! The extra attention you receive from the staff, easy access to the monorail. Luxury accommodations make this a place to be. More expensive than most other hotels on site, but so nice to be in the lap of luxury at Disney!

My family and I stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for five nights in March, 2015. We were assigned to an upper floor in Big Pine Key building. Despite booking a theme park view and paying extra for it, our room only had a view of the park to the far left (9442). That said we could see... More

To be honest, even on site resorts aren't as convenient as we want. Grand Floridian is as good as it gets at Disney; great restaurants, pools, and the villas are fabulous. So much room and for a family you can't ask for more with the full kitchen, bathrooms, washer/dryer, and balcony. However, unless you are going to Magic Kingdom (and... More

This was our first time here and all five of us loved it. The grounds are impeccably manicured, as you would expect from Disney. Although most "cast members" go out of their way to make you happy, at times, more often than we expected, some were not well informed and gave us erroneous information. But the beautiful facilities more than... More
