Disney is so gracious and polished in their experience and the Grand Floridian was no different. We travelled by Disney Shuttle to the hotel and was greeted with courteous and friendly staff and wisked to our rooms. We had eleven people among which were 5 grandchildren, so this was not an easy task. I have so many positives to say... More

This hotel was convenient to everything that we wanted to do. You can get to anywhere on Disney property with the monorail, buses,or boats. The days are long and so the beds here are comfortable and the shower is nice. We stayed in the DVC villas. From most reviews I have seen DVC are sometimes treated like the ugly stepsister.... More

We stayed for two nights and then took the Disney Bus to the Cruise ship in Port Canaveral. We stayed in the main building on the club level. We had 5 in our party; two parents and three kids all over the age of 17. We had one room and there was plenty of space for 5. Unlike some rooms... More

Stayed at the Grand Floridian for four nights with my three daughters (13, 10, and 6). They gave us a lagoon view room (#5424) near the elevators. The room was very nice, and the view was wonderful. You can see the fireworks from the very large balcony. However, the proximity to the elevators was a huge problem. It was very... More

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Floridian club level. We were met at the car and given a brief tour of the hotel and then taken to Sugarloaf. The CM checked us in while we had breakfast. All of the CM's were fantastic - helpful and friendly. The daily offerings (breakfast, snacks at noon, afternoon tea, appetizers in... More

Having stayed at other Disney resorts, we decided to book the Grand Floridian this time and while our overall experience was good, it could have been much better. I must say that the lobby is impressive and beautiful with its Victorian style. There is a calming aura to the place which is pleasant after long days at the parks. The... More

We stayed for 10 days in August 2015. The services are subpar (just try to get shampoo or soap, for instance). The staff is often rude, taking an adversarial tone when you ask questions or ask for help. And, forget getting to Epcot or Magic Kingdom if the monorail is down...they will tell you to WALK from the Ticket Transportation... More

Grand Floridian isn't worth the money! We go to Disney every year! We like to stay at different hotels around Disney each year. This year we stayed at the Grand Floridian, they had a bug problem I mean bad, wake up calls we didn't request, service wasn't great either when we tried to get them to correct the issues. We... We stayed at the Sugar Loaf building which is club level. A lot of food was served but the selection did not change daily. Housekeeping did a good job of cleaning our room. We felt like there was nothing special about our experience which is a shame. We stayed at Animal Kingdom last year and felt the staff went out... More

We didn't stay at the Grand Floridian, but wanted to check it out during our mini Disney trip. We did by taking the boat and it was magical and beautiful as the posted photos:) This resort has the most beautiful Christmas tree during the holiday time and it is a must see!
