My wife and I stayed at Disney’s Beach Club Resort which was well worth the extra money for a deluxe resort instead of a moderate or value property. This property had all the amenities you would expect from a deluxe resort such as a pool with an old fashioned soda shop nearby, (Beaches and Cream), nice restaurants, concierge service, etc.... This is by no means a premium hotel. Check-in experience was poor, the room had a terrible smell and the food was just not good. I have had a better experience in some of the other cheaper hotels, not worth the money.

Troubles checking in. Not a very sympathetic crew behind the desk. Don't expect any room requests to mean anything to them. Or to compensate you for any of their mistakes. Food not good. As expected everything was expensive regardless of quality. But hey we were right there in Disney & had a sandy pool that the granddaughter loved. Will try... More

I have been to Disney and stayed in one of the Disney properties 9 times- everywhere from cheap All Star to the Cabins in Fort Wilderness to Old Key West and even the Disneyland Hotel in California and have loved each one as each has its own charm. I recently returned from our annual Disney trip and stayed in The... More

This hotel is definitely not a luxury resort. It is very pretty on the outside but sadly, the inside looks more like a 3 star hotel at best. It took us 45 minutes to get our luggage. The room had an odd smell and was not very clean. The bathrooms are as small as a public stall. The room furniture... More

My wife was going to Disney for a big business convention and I was tagging along on vacation. We were lucky to get into the Beach Club Resort -- it is located a 10 minute walk away from the main convention center in the Swan/Dolphin hotel complex. So from a business traveler's perspective, the location was great, the room was... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights after our Disney cruise. The hotel was attractive in the exterior but the interior had different story to tell. The hotel has a strong scent in the lobby to hide smell of musty odor. The cast members with the iPad to check in guests are clueless and then if you did... More

I recently stayed at this resort while attending a Run Disney event. This was one of the 'host resorts' so I could not stay at my normal resort of choice (Grand Floridian.) So I arrived late on Thursday night and was given a room on the 2nd floor immediately above the check-in desk. The room was large but had an... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Beach Club. We had a king size, very comfortable bed. Our suite had a sofa, refrigerator, separate sinks and counter. Checking was fast. Richard was there in the lobby to greet us every day. we had a nice location (2573) which was close to one of the elevator but far enough that we did... More
