This hotel is awesome. Huge rooms, great pools, terrific lobby. Clean, comfortable and fun. Views are wonderful whether of golf course, courtyard or pools. Easy walk to monorail and other hotels. Can buy discounted tickets on site. For military guestsand families. We were guests. Have come about 10 times.

If you are active or retired military or work for the DOD, don't miss out on this beautiful resort. Check out their seasonal packages for an even better value. Just wish WDW didn't take away the free parking privilege.

My family stayed at SOG during our first ever family vacation! After looking at the Disney properties, I was excited to find this exclusive resort that would help us save room in our budget for other things! I was upset when we arrived later in the evening and were told we couldn't unload our luggage or have a luggage cart... More

Shades of Green Hotel was a great place to stay close to the attractions. We took the shuttle bus each day to the monorail or the ferry that went to Magic Kingdom. The kids enjoyed the ferry ride! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. We had 2 double beds and a... More

This hotel is such a great value, if you are eligible you should really stay here! It is close to the Polynesian which goes for around $400 per night. So, for about a hundred a night, the Shades of Green is the best bargain to stay on the grounds of Walt Disney World. The rooms are LARGE by Disney standards.... More

I think that this resort is ok not the best, it has it ups and downs so depending on what you are looking for would be the end result on how you would rate it. I really think that this resort is more for families with older kids or no kids at all. It is very spacious can easily sleep... More

This is an outstanding resort with the minor exception of the food. The food is OK. The rooms are the biggest on the property and most have been updated over the last few years. You also have the benefit of being right in between two championship golf courses, not that you go to Disney to play golf but if you... More

First trip to resort, I saw many mixed reviews but here is my experience. We were in the very last room at the end of the resort. It may seem like a long walk, but if you stay anywhere else the walk in any of the large resorts is also long, it is only long because there is no scenery... More
