We spent four nights at Shades of Green on a family vacation to Orlando. It's relatively new, at least compared to the Hale Koa and Dragon Hill Lodge, and in great shape. We visited the two pools every day. The standard room was plenty big enough for the five of us, and was a great deal -- for its price... More

This was our second stay on property within the past 15 months. You can't beat the location - within a 10 minute walk to Polynesian hotel (or just ask the valet to drive you down there on the golf cart!). The bus drivers are fabulous - lots of fun facts, always on time (be at your stop or you WILL... More

This was our family's first trip to WDW. We were placed in room 207. It was a lovely room in the Magnolia wing facing the pool. We had a wonderful view of fireworks every night at 10 pm. This hotel was awesome. Even though it wasn't technically a Disney Resort, we felt like it was. Transportation was great and on... More

We have stayed here twice. It is a wonderful hotel. Staff are all customer focused. rooms are quite comfortable and very clean. the place is so large that you can find some very quiet areas to stay if you want quiet and relaxation. Lots to do for both adults and those traveling with kids. shuttles to all of the Disney... More

I am so very glad my family and I stayed here! I am active duty Navy, and was very excited to be able to afford a Disney Vacation! Between the Disney Military Salute and this wonderful resort we had a vacation I never dreamed possible! We booked early and received free breakfast buffet with our room price. The restaurants on... Don't ask for early check in, we weren't told our room was ready until 3pm on the dot. The lady at the reservations desk was very rude and not helpful at all. But luckily the bell hop kept our luggage while we explored the hotel. The concierge man standing in the lobby was very nice. We were in the palm... More

I just returned from a 5 day stay at SOG with my husband, five year old son, and my husband's parents and sister. What a fabulous visit we had. My FIL was our sponsor and we took advantage of the package that included daily breakfast, as well as the discounted four day Disney park pass. The staff was very friendly... More

Shades of Green was a wonderful experience for our family! Great pools, golf courses (we don't play, but it looked pretty from our room). They were very helpful in getting our family of 7 to the monorail at the Polynesian in the early morning for a breakfast reservation at Cinderella's Castle. All in all a perfect place for our family... More
