Wonderful property. Bathrooms could be updated, but rooms were lovely. Although transportation is offered, we enjoyed the 7-8 minute walk to the Polynesian Hotel to jump on the monorail. The lobby is gorgeous and has been updated since our last stay about 10 years ago. Huge rooms compared to other hotels on Disney property. We loved having a Starbucks/ice cream... More

Awesome rooms. Nice shuttle. Gym was great but wish they had an outdoor running path like the other disney resorts . Would recommend for the price and convenience. Would book months in advance due to popularity of the hotel.

I have to disagree with the other reviews The last time we stayed at this hotel it was in a run down room in the ADA section, on the first floor I believe the number of the room was 100??r. you had to walk all around the hlotel until you got to your room.. The room looked old and tired.I... More

We just left the property to go home. We had two connecting rooms. Rooms/bed/sofa bed very nice. Location is wonderful and value is more than excellent compared to other properties. But bathrooms could be updated. Our last day the room was never serviced.. Too late in return to have it done. On one other day we had to stop at... More

Shades of Green is much more than a hotel. It is more than a resort. It's a true vacation destination. Grounds are magnificent, rooms clean and spacious, amenities abound around every corner with pools, restaurants, a convenience store, golf courses (there are two here), and naturally Disney World. Free bus service to the Disney parks made our stay extra special... More

We go to SOG every time we go to Disney or Universal. We love it and the prices are awesome. The maid service was wonderful and we got to know ours. She did extra things for us she knew we liked. The room service and the food is great after a long night at the parks. You can't go wrong... More

I first stayed in Shades of Green in 1996 on my first trip to Disney. I was a teenager at the time. I still have great memories of it then. Now it is even better. We have stayed here twice as a family and both times were fantastic. Even writing the review makes me want to go back immediately. The... More

This hotel is a great choice for eligible individuals. The public areas were well maintained & the rooms are spacious & clean. My husband & I received excellent customer service throughout our stay. We would definitely choose Shades of Green if we were to visit the Orlando area again. The resort offers excellent value for the price and it is... More

This is a great resort for active duty and retired military members and their families. It's located in the heart of the Walt Disney World property and offers a number of great amenities including two pools, a spa, a connecting golf course, and many forms of shuttle transportation to the surrounding parks including Seaworld and Universal. Another great feature is... More
