Most of the benefits of staying on a Disney property are included except the airport shuttle. If your military status qualifies you to stay at this hotel, I recommend you do so. The rooms are huge, the breakfast buffet is exceptional, pool is nice (one was under renovation when we were there and I bet it'll be great when finished.),... More

We had the fortunate opportunity to not only get married at the Shades of Green, but also to stay at the Palm Suite for two nights. The Palm Suite is the biggest suite offered to guests staying at the Shades of Green. Please keep in mind this specific suite is available to Wounded Warriors (They are priority!), otherwise this suite... More

This was as nice as any of the disney resorts but much more reasonably priced. If you have the ability to use Shades of Green be sure to take advantage of it, you will not regret doing so. The breakfast buffet was great so be sure to get the package that includes breakfast. All the disney souvenier items were available... More

Terrific place to stay for military families with young children, we had a great stay as we visited Disney World. The amenities are top notch with wonderful extended hours including Starbucks, AAFES Exchange, Ice Cream bar, and several restaurants. We will definitely be staying here when we return to Disney World again in three years!

Like the title says we are back for a third time. We actually did not plan to come this year but when SoG had a special for $74 a night it was to good to pass up. We really do like this hotel otherwise we wouldn't come back. This trip we stayed in the Palm side vice the Magnolia which... More

The handicap pool is also great for small children. This hotel is clean with very spacious rooms. The staff goes out of their way to accomodate. Very user friendly and reasonably priced. Starbucks onsite in the lobby opens early. Buffet breakfast or ala carte, buffet for small children separate. This hotel is for Military families and retired military only. Priced... More

Stayed 4 nights here with my family. I thought the property was very beautiful. The rooms were nice and clean. Wish it had been a bit bigger since there were 5 plus an infant in our party. Liked the bathroom set up. Didn't care for the soap they provide, left me feeling slimy. Loved that they have a Starbucks in... More

This was out first time at SOG and was more than pleased. The room was very large and extremely clean. AS for sleeping, it was very quiet. Our room overlooked the Palm golf course and this made us happy since we are golfers. We parked our car in the hotel garage which is safe and convenient. Our check-in was perfect... More

This was an unusual stay this time. the SOG is usually my stay-vacation destination for this area; however, when I got to the room, I noticed a "high Wall" on the patio vice the usual grating with a nice view of the garden. Since it was just me for only about 2 nights, and not spending that much time in... More

we had a fabulous discount at this resort. I was impressed by the size of the property. The staff was very friendly and the room was in fabulous shape. We had a great view of the golf course. The bus schedule was easy to follow and provided safe transportation to and from the resort. You must have a valid military... More
