Don't be fooled by this "value" resort. My 2 year old came down with an ear infection during our vacation and was up all night crying from ear pain. The resort gave me and my son our own room at no charge so that my family could get some sleep. They checked on us regulalry through out the vacation to... More

There are three "All-Star" resorts at Disney... the Music, Sports, and the one I stayed at, Movies. I selected the All-Star Movies Resort based mostly on price. I've always been more of a value traveler when it comes to hotels. I primarily use them to sleep, shower, and change clothes in. So as long as the bed, bathroom, and walls... More

I work in quality so here are my observations on a whim. Checkin: We flew in on a West Jet vacation- and originally our reservation was for Allstar Music. We arrived a little late and proceeded to check in at Allstar music. Issues: It seemed as though at that time our pre-online checkin line took longer then those that did... More

My husband and I stayed at Disney's All Star Movies Resort in September 2011. This was our first Disney vacation. The whole experience was great. The best part was the Disney Magical Express! We knew not to expect a luxury hotel room, however we think the beds could use some work! We had 2 full size beds, for just the... More

The buildings and decor are fabulous. The rooms are perfectly fine for a basic hotel room. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom clean. When you are at Disney you generally don't spend a lot of time in your room anyway, so why overpay for a place to sleep and shower. My problem was with the crowds. There are A... More

Took our 2 oldest grandsons (ages 3 and 4 1/2) to Disney in January. The All Star Movie was GREAT for them with the larger than life characters. Although when first checked in was not in Toy Story area as requested, they moved us to that area for the rest of our stay the next day while we were at... More

Many people do not like staying in hotels located at Walt Disney World, because of the price generally more expensive than hotels located in Orlando. But mostly of times I prefer to stay in Disney hotels, even paying a little more. Not only because the location but also the benefits (free parking in the Disney parks, delivery of purchases at... I stayed here for my high school senior trip. It is a great budget friendly place to stay, but it is very dated and hoaky. It is also cheesily decorated and way too kid friendly for young adults to be staying. However, it has a nice location close to the parks. Would definitely not go back! More

First, let's get this straight. This is Disney's BUDGET property. You can't expect deluxe accommodations when the company specifically says "BUDGET" and certainly not for a budget price. However, Disney being Disney comes close. My family visited in January for a last minute weekend getaway. (We are Florida residents and Disney offers WONDERFUL deals for us.) I called the DAY... This is the only value resort I have not stayed at in WDW. I checked in and got friendly service both at check in, and at the concierge counter when I needed to add park tickets to my room key. My room was ready early, and was nice and clean. The rooms have been upgraded since my last stay at... More
