This is an unusual place, not your average B&B or hotel. It is actually a wedding venue at an old estate converted over time to include apartments, a pub, hotel type suites and general rooms, condos, pools and tennis courts. Clean, beautiful view of the Sr. John river from the River Suites and good value for the money.

The vintage building sits right on the St. John River in Orange Park for extreme romance. I was in a ground floor room that made me feel like I was floating right on the river. The clean and comfortable room was a large suite with a patio facing the river. The restaurant in an a nearby building serves 5 star... More

First I need to start by staying my review comes from a place of happiness as my wife and I held a beautiful wedding for our daughter this weekend. The grounds and venue were perfect so if you can afford it, I highly recommend this location. The staff who helped us plan and then coordinate everything on the special day... More

I stayed here for 9 days and really loved the area. This hotel is three story building with about 15 rooms and ours had a small kitchen: oven/microwave/fridge and few dishes. Don't expect to be able to cook much but works for quick meals. It has been recently renovated and the bathrooms are great. Rainshower head, whirlpool tubs and the... More

This hotel is beautiful. It was a perfect location to attend a wedding at the same facility. We were on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator so be prepared for that. Our room overlooked the river which was so nice. The room was available to check in early and they were happy to accommodate us. I wish the... More

A must if your part of a wedding party. Quiet, serene, old world style. River suite was nice. No staffing for others. Seems catered events are the focus, not the "other guest". Good location for day tripping. St.Augustine, Golf Village, Jacksonville etc.

We spent 4 days here and we were very happy with the quality of the accomodations. Our stay included their breakfast. This was worth it alone. The view of the grounds while enjoying a full breakfast with buffet option was the best way to start the day. We stayed in one of the rooms right on the water near their... More

Takes you back to a more opulent era...beautiful vistas, rooms, and gardens. Can't think of a better place for an anniversary celebration or romantic get away. And you can have your wedding here. Unforgettable.

Quite simply, the most awesome place to stay (and we travel worldwide). My wife fell ill prior to checkout & the amazing employees (Harry from the front desk, housekeeping) came to the rescue. ...And that's not even tapping into the grounds and amazing landscape/bedrooms/views/etc. Just do this: make a reservation...then take your expectations & times them by 10...then you may... The Club Continental in Jacksonville Florida is my very favorite place to stay when traveling for business or pleasure in that area. Be sure to make dining reservations and stay on property for dinner. Great place to meet clients!

The Club Continental Suites is more that just a bed and breakfast. Our fifteen River Suites all have private riverfront balconies and each room offers dynamic views. Completed in 1993, these accommodations offer a one-of-kind overnight experience. The seven individually decorated rooms in our mansion feature a romantic old world ambiance. Of course, each overnight stay also includes a complimentary Continental Breakfast. The on site River House Pub gives an added dimension with lively entertainment, spirits, and good cheer, in a relaxed and casual environment, while our elegant riverfront dining room pleases both the palette and the eye.
