Ver few motels in this area while visiting relatives, so we decided on the Suwanee Gables. While the owner was friendly, the rest of our experience went down after checking in! First room we were led to had a clogged and leaking sink. We had to move to another room, which was not welcoming at all. Bedspreads were worn and... More

Located directly on the banks of the Suwanee river, it has a beautiful view and nice grounds with a pavillion with picnic tables and a gas grill. Our rooms 106 and 107 both had 2 twin beds that were not too comfortable, ample lighting, good carpeting, a clean but aged bathroom, and a good TV with a large selection of... More

Stayed at Suwannee Gables 1/31 and highly recommend it. Rooms are clean, river views are beautiful, and the owners and staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home. Suggest following their recommendation to eat breakfast on the river, it really is a lovely way to start the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a very good stay, staff was very friendly, easy on-off of the highway, Rooms was clean. Owner has been in the area for over 25 years and can lead you in the correct direction of whatever you might need. I will stay there again next time through town.

Driving thru town and found this gem ! Right on the Suwannee river with docks and a boat ramp. Outdoor grill and fire pit and covered tables. We were there with the full moon reflecting on the river. How beautiful!! The rooms are cute and clean. They have larger cabins on the river for families. The gentleman at the check... More

The room was clean, the water in the shower was hot, the bed was comfortable. The air conditioner was very loud as were the trucks on Rt. 19.There was a coffee pot, but no coffee. The River was pretty but the deck didn't look like the picture. There were picnic tables and old burnered out propane grills that you had... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us.The room rates are quated as they are listed in the rate policy and the duration of the stay also depends on the events during that time of the year. Days Inn is located 11 miles south of us in Chefland and the Suwannee Gables is located on the Suwannee river. The propane grilles... More

Nice staff. Only stayed one night, it was ver quite place a few cats running around. Which if you love animals it should not bother you. They did not bother anyone. A great river view in back. A few Cob Webs in the room above the bed. Other than that it was ok.

My husband and I were traveling from Florida to California. We got a late start the first day, didn't know how far we would drive and had no reservations for the night. You know this makes for a disaster just waiting to unfold. We were tired and it was getting dusky dark. As we crossed the Suwannee River in Old... More

Nice hotel and simple amenities. We had a quiet night and enjoyed our stay. Hotel owner very nice. Pet friendly. Historical place that probably was a top place to stay in it's earlier days. If you are driving on US 19 through the coastal areas of West Florida, this would be a top pick to stop and enjoy.
