Towels were stained, toilet paper was molded and hard, the bed was worn out including the pillows, bugs around the mirror, bugs in the bed, both of us was nighttime snacks for something biting us all night, both of us had sick headaches from some kind of smell or odor in our room.

I had a very pleasant day and night here this past weekend...The lady that everyone seems to think was rude or short or whatever was exceptionally friendly and helpful with us...It was my wife and I and 2 daughters and when we asked for more towels and pillows they were there within a minute...This is an older style motel and... Filthy!!! Urine stained sheets, no water in pool. When the area lost power, we asked for a refund. We were told by rude owners it was not their problem. This seedy place should be bulldozed. Calling credit card company to cancel charges. Run away from this place!

I booked about a week in advance and was quoted $220 for a week's stay. Much cheaper than the quotes for the chain hotels in Chiefland. When I got there, the Indian lady at the desk charged me $250 with no explanation for the increase (even though I could see where her husband wrote down the $220 quote he had... More

We had to get a motel for the night because our air conditioner broke and the repairs could not be done until the next morning. The woman was very short with my husband when he checked in. We looked at a room before paying, and it smelled okay and looked clean. I was really itchy and kept waking up but... More

We were in town for my mother's birthday. My parents live in Old Town which is very close. Other family members have stayed numerrous times and never had a problem. No it's not the Ritz Carllton, it's a small older motel but the room was clean and the bedding was clean. The office staff was not rude although they were... More

The woman who is the owner is extremely rude. It was our 2nd anniversary, and we were going to enjoy the river. My friend order 2 king size room and was giving the price. When we got there the price was higher, and she only had 1 king size room and a room with 2 double beds. She didn't care... More

We come to Fanning Springs to snorkle in the spring several times a year. The hotel is in between a good BBQ place that serves breakfast and a good seafood place, and is almost adjacent to a really nice running/biking/walking trail. The rooms are large and clean. The owners are very nice, although reserved. Great location and overall experiance keeps... More

My husband and I take our son to Old Town once a month to visit family. We usually stay with them, but decided to stay in a hotel this last trip. We chose the Cadillac Motel at Fanning Springs because of the close location. The woman who checked us in was extremely rude, never smiled, or looked up for that... More
