We made our 2nd trip to the Ocala Hilton to relax, due some swimming, eat at their great restayrant and a short visit to Silver Springs. This Hilton is a little below the average for Hilton but still okay. It does need some updating. I don't think they have done anything to the lobby area since I stayed here about 15 years ago! Great place. Great room service. The executive floors are very comfortable. We have stayed here with our small dog several times. Unlike other so-called pet-friendly hotels, they recognize that our furry companion is cleaner and quieter than most other guests and treated him and us with respect. Recently travelled over form Ireland on business and spent 5 nights in the Hilton Ocala. To say that i was made feel at home would be an understatement! Exceptionally clean, comfortable room. This was not a good experience. The rug in the room had spots all over it and should have either been replaced or cleaned. The light colored bed cover had dark hairs on it. The bathroom toilet handle was loose and worked marginally. The coffee in the room was terrible. In the past, this Hilton has offered complimentary morning coffee.... more

This hotel is not excellent, not outstanding, but it does give solid satisfaction.
