Our family of 4 spent a week here in April 2012. We were in a 2 bedroom condo on the 5th floor (509). I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We booked in the UK through Trailfinders but used the JC resorts website to look inside the condos. We chose 509 as it was a corner condo on the top... More

We have stayed at Ram Sea periodically for many years. We enjoy the location and outside amenities. The beach is great for walking, the poor and hot tub are very nice, the staff are friendly and helpful, and it is close to restaurants and shopping. You seldom need to leave the island area (which is great because there's too much... More

Hello Toronto. This was a great review and very helpful for people who have never been to Ram Sea. One of the best features now is the ability to select a vacation rental that suits your specific tastes. You are also very correct with regard to owners taking note and realizing that the nicer the rental the more guests come... More

We stayed in unit #402 in Ram Sea (can't remember if it was I or II; it was the building on the right if you are looking at the condo buildings from the street). The view from the unit was excellent, right on the beach towards the sea. The beach was great, good for kids just steps away from the... More

Update on 402... This beachfront vacation rental was completely updated in December of 2011. All new! The owner has done a fabulous job. New pictures will be posted in early June. Thanks for taking the time to add your review. It often helps to have vacation rental owners see things from a guest's perspective. More

I stayed at the Ram Sea in July 2011 in room 212. This by far had to be the most outdated, run down room in the entire building. The beds were hard as cement. The bedroom with two double beds had a broken clock on the wall, a remote that didn't work. The bathroom in that bedroom had bugs, flickering... More

My husband and I stayed at the Ram Sea II room 312 at the end of May. The condo is outdated and needs new furniture. The bed in the master bed room is a FULL SIZE bed and not a queen as it states on the JC resort website. It was too small for the two of us to sleep... More

We are so sorry you found your stay in 312 to be less than desired. 312 has had some wonderful reviews on these pages and we are terribly apologetic that we did not meet your standard during your stay. We will certainly convey this information to the unit owner to let them know. We always appreciate our guests taking the... More

This condo is your run of the bin beachfront condo that is outdated and over used. The only benefit to this place is it is directly beach front. We stayed at this location for a family wedding that was being held otherwise I am not sure we would have chose this place. The condo was nothing fabulous. Upon checking in... More

My husband and I travelled with our two young daughters ages 2 and 5. We stayed in RamSea 1 Unit 405. We had an absolutely awesome time. This condo is updated and well maintained. These condos all face the beautiful beach. The first condo we had needed updating and was a smoking condo (beware). We moved from that one to a remodeled very nice condo. (113). It was a great place to stay next to the Doubletree where you have access to rent cabanas, eat and a full bar. More

Thank you for your review. Some owners do allow smoking on the balconies but those are very rare these days. Most are non smoking and this information is provided on each unit's individual listing. It is a nice feature that you can now go online to select a unit that suits your specific tastes. Glad you enjoyed your stay and... More

I live in Clearwater and stay at beach condos several times a year. I like a kitchen, a pool, good beach, and 3 night minimum (most condos require 7 nights). Ram Sea offered all this, though some seasons they will have 7 nt minimum. I will definitely return here when possible and recommend it for families or couples. Pros: I... More

Thanks for your comments and tips. They will certainly be helpful for others. You may be pleased to know that 409 has had upgraded balcony doors installed since your stay.
