We paid 50$ extra for the sea view but it was worth it. Huge lobby shared with other hotels. Not much of an office in the end of the lobby but friendly staff. Security staff in the lobby.. We had a couple of questions that they took care of immediately. The room was very clean and had very comfortable beds.... More

Finding a decent reasonably placed hotel near Miami Beach is next to impossible. We found this hotel to be the best compromise between distance to the beach, price and available parking. This Hotel is right on a nice stretch of Miami, there is quite a distance to nearby shopping and restaurants so a car is a necessity. The Hotel looks... More

Stayed here in February 2015 for 4 nights. First things first, New Point Miami is a brand of Vacation suites in a much larger building with multiple other tenants. There is no signage on the outside of the building indicating that the New Point was within. First impression: Wait in line at the bottom of a very steep ramp to... More

This hotel is not luxurious but the location is excellent and the price is reasonable. The beach is just outside the hotel is not very big but it is ok if the hotel is not full. The apartments are big enough, they don't have a place to cook but they have a microwave oven and a fridge.

I stayed at this hotel during 04/10/15-04/13/15. When we got to the hotel i was really surprise of how nice this hotel/apartment is. Very clean and a nice decor. The room was huge and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. The kitchen was very small but at least we found cups which... More

Stayed here during Miami Ultra Music festival. The apartment was nice, clean, had everything we needed except a kettle!? Nice big fridge, plenty of towels plus beach towels, comfy bed and big tv. The pool area is nice although hard at times to get a lounger. The bar is good and serves yummy cocktails and ok food. There aren't many... More

I have stayed in Miami Beach and this was not our best nor our worst experience. It is a decent value alternative and has the potential to be a pretty neat place. It had a very diverse crowd of young and old people. The staff was welcoming and check in check out were easy and efficient Essentially you check in... More

Wow -staying on Miami Beach is very expensive. Don't look for the New Point name on a builiding -it isn't there. We went up and down the street and finally just went into the property called Castle Hotel and they were apartments in that building. Jeez just put up a sign for peets sake. Through the night we heard rats... More

Stayed here one night after flying into MIA and before departing on our trip to The Keys. I'm not sure if I could have stayed more than 1 night or in general stay here again. It worked, but wasn't worth the money, Having never been to Miami before, maybe it's a great deal but I spent more for an ocean... More

Yes indeed, for Miami Beach it's very affordable. But you get what you pay for. First of all, as entering the place you are welcome by a security desk with all the monitors showing all the security cameras. Scary. Than, as it turns out, the New Point Miami (the hotel part) is a little door at the end of the... More
