Stayed here during the summer with my family and loved it! The hotel is a block or 2 from the beach. The rooms provide basic accommodations with a small kitchen. They provide beach chairs. There are 2 restaurants across from the hotel that serve excellent food, specially breakfast. RC Otters and Key Lime bistro. This is the perfect hotel to... More

If I am honest, I booked Captiva Island Inn because it was one of the cheaper options on the expensive Captiva Island. From reviews on here and the price compared to other rooms, I therefore wasn't expecting much. I couldn't have been more wrong. From our arrival a day early (due to a change in our travel arrangements) to the... More

Stayed here for the Captiva Triathlon. It's about 1.5 miles from South Seas Resort. Rooms came with 2 breakfast meals to one of the two restaurants nearby. We stayed in the Hibiscus cottage. 1 bedroom with a living room and small kitchen. Things are a little outdated in the cottage but we enjoyed the stay. Walking distance to the beach.

On our first visit to Captiva a number of years ago, we stayed at the large resort where we had all the amenities for a large rate and resort fee. We had a better stay here in a comfortable setting in the Iris Villa, which is large and has a kitchen. At this time of year, the rates are very... More

We recently stayed several days at this eclectic bed & breakfast located only a few steps from the beach one way & the harbor the other way. Very clean, & very spacious with a very accommodating staff who could not do enough for us to enhance our stay! Breakfast was included! Only outstanding things to say about the location! Visit... Great private place-close to the beach-super breakfast choices and perfect island atmosphere! Can't wait to return :) The small pool was a wonderful retreat from the intense heat! Walking distance of alot!

The B & B reception was wonderful and very kind. They provided breakfast at either the RC Otter of the Key Lime Bistro, both very wonderful restaurants with great food!~ The Captiva Island Inn itself is a very unique boutique of cottages and rooms. We stayed in the Hisbiscus and they were renovating the porch and had a new door.... More

Nice place but the destiny room had a rusted and dirty tub. When we complained the person at the desk was friendly but nothing done. The next day they tried to place a plastic mat in the tub which did nothing. We never received a call from the manager or any assistance. Sorry but something more could have been done.... More

The location is great, our second floor room (Lantana Suite) was comfortable but dated - small neat kitchenette, small bath - queen bed in small bedroom, couch and chair in sitting area. Some of the blinds covering the sliders to the balcony were broken and the sitting room sliders were hard to open and close. Those in the bedroom worked... More

Let me start off by saying that the whole "sleeps up to 5 people" thing is only true if the 5th person is a ghost. There's only one bed (size full, I think) and one sofa bed, so in reality, only 4 people (2 per bed) can sleep in the room. The sofa is not comfortable, like any pull-out, so... More
