We where in the area on a multi-day boat trip when one of our older guys got really sick. We decided to find a Hotel to spend a night on shore. Tween Waters had two standard rooms for $250 each, ok no problem here. The front desk kept trying to sell us Dinner and told us the Marina guys are... More

we called last minute as we were in Orlando and would be traveling down the west coast to our destination. We had never been to Captiva but had heard great things about it! we were able to get a beautiful room over looking the gulf in the Sea Grape. I read some other reviewers did not like to stay along... More

Very nice afternoon at Tween Waters with very nice service from bartender Casey. Very conversational, friendly and personable. This is our third annual trip to TWI and second year receiving service from Casey - great bartender and wonderful reflection of your brand. Any chance of seeing Blanton's bourbon and Carpano vermouth behind the bar for Manhattans next year? Love your... More

We have visited FL several times over the last 20 years and this is the first time we stayed at 'Tween Waters. As several other tripadvisors noted, the location is breathtaking and the secluded nature of the beach right across the street was fabulous. Also as noted by others, the free breakfast fell into the "you get what you pay... More

We stayed at Tween Waters for a week and it was at or near 100% booked, so some people must like this place. We didn't though the staff was friendly enough. There were just too many "little" things that were problems and a number of big things. The first big thing occurred when we walked into the king suite room... More

While the setting is one of the prettiest and relaxing in Florida, the service leaves much to be desired. The rooms, while not the most handsomely appointed ever, served nicely(balcony!). The free breakfast was a perk, but the high prices of virtually everything else at the resort soon made up for that freebie. Overall, while I enjoyed relaxing on the... More

We stayed 3 nights with our daughter on her spring break from college . The room was older but clean and spacious with a view of the bay. We loved the water sports available .. Paddle boarding and kayaking right from the resort. The breakfast had such amazing fresh pineapple and the pool was so relaxing. We truly relaxed and... More

We will be back. Staff extremely helpful. Room (king bed suite in Mangrove Building on third floor) quiet, clean, comfortable. Bathroom had rainfall shower, separate toilet area with door, and two sinks. Full kitchen. Screened-in balcony overlooking the marina. Elevator and parking on ground level. Old Captiva House restaurant served ample breakfast (included) with wonderful breads. Snack bar at pool... More

My daughter and I recently had a three day weekend at the Tween Waters Inn. We found it to be old but extremely clean and accommodating. It is right across the street from the beach with reasonable rates for chairs /umbrellas. They have a restaurant which offers free cold breakfast but have a good menu if you want more. The... More

So Friday night we decide to drive over to Sanibel ( March 6th) our favorite place on earth. It was sold out so we called Tween Waters, I told the women we wanted to stay till Monday but possibly Tuesday , she said no problem just let us know when you decide. She gave me a rate of 200 a... More
