We have been here about 12 times since our honeymoon 24 years ago. We are spending this week (end of July 2014) in Peterson Cottage which is adorable and perfect for families. Had our anniversary dinner at the Old Captiva House which was superb. The Crow's nest has been fun and friendly. Unfortunately the hotel staff's service has been erratic... More

Very nice Captiva Island resort. The hardest choices to make here are whether to hit the beach or the pool...and deciding where to have dinner! Great large pool area with bar and grille, resort towels and comfortable pool lounges. Rooms are very nice; we had gulf view suite with small kitchen, king size beds (mattress a little hard, but ok)... More

This place is really great. Rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. In Florida it's important to have good ac. This place has awesome ac. The pool is awesome. We used the marina and it is first class. All of the people that work here were very polite. Highly recommend.

This was our first trip to the island and found that Tween Waters was overall perfect for our family. We stayed in the Seagrape building with an ocean view. We loved the quietness of this building. The room itself, was accommodating for what we needed. There could have been some updating needed, as others have noted. It didn't affect the... More

My daughter had her wedding at Tween Waters in June. It was an absolutely fabulous experience and the most memorable day for my daughter and my new son-in-law. The staff was so professional and friendly- they made our whole experience easy and problem free. This allowed all of us to really enjoy the day. It is a wonderful place to... More

Excellent pet friendly destination! The staff from the front desk to the bartenders were very courteous and professional. Everything is clean and cozy. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage...excellent value for the quality...right across from the beach...close to the pool...your own parking space...rent bikes, boats, kayaks...etc...excellent getaway destination...I was sorry to leave and cant wait to go back...even our... On an annual basis, my wife and I go to tween for the Fourth of July holiday weekend. We have been going since 2011. When you go to this hotel, you need to realize that this isn't a luxury resort. It is a peaceful resort that encourages you to relax and enjoy the pleasures of either the pool or the... More

I stayed at Tween Waters last weekend. We had an ocean view room in the Seagrape building. While the building had obviously been renovated somewhat recently, it still felt a little old/cracked/faded in some respects. There was a nice view from the balcony. The pool and pool bar were a bit of a scene in the afternoon - very crowded... More

We went to Captiva for a wedding and were able to stay at Tween Waters. Very nice place! Had an ocean view room with wonderful amenities. The Harbor behind the rooms has several extremely large yachts docked which was nice to walk down and look at. If you stand on the edges of the docks you will see lots of... More

First time to Captiva Island. Chose Tween Waters based on Trip advisor reviews. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the beds comfortable. Beach was short walk across the street. Bay area and pier good for fishing. If you can pack beach chairs and an umbrella it will save you the daily rental charge. We traveled... More
