I recently took my wife and three kid to stay at south seas for a week of relaxation and relaxing it was. There where many things to do at the resort the kids loved the pools (especially the one with the water slides). We took the boat and thoroughly enjoyed the full service marina. The island was very vast and... More

We booked a what was labeled a 2bedroom tennis villa for our family, (2 gilrs 11 and 14) The locatoin of the $600 per night Tennis villas felt like a Holiday in in the suburbs of Chicago. They were very dirty and outdated. The room that was to be the master bedroom, was actually a loft with no walls or... More

Our family visited South Seas for the Easter break and had a great time. Our room had a water view where we watched the dolphins and manatees swim. Everything was clean and comfortable. They even had the Easter bunny arrive via parra-sail. It was a great family environment and we will be back.

Overall we enjoyed our time at a South Seas. Nice pool complex, nice clientele and staff, and a relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a Harbourside hotel room and found it to be very good. Much larger than a normal hotel room and a very large and well appointed bathroom. Pleasant balcony, too. For those reading reviews....my suggestion is to read... More

The staff, pools, Scully's, etc. were great. Restaurants, especially Harborside, are not worth the money. We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa, and for $900/night, we had a dirty kitchen, stained chairs and sofa, dirt in the bathroom, cracked tiles in floor and a picture missing from the wall (hardware to hang was still on wall.) We complained and the... More

Loved Captiva Island and the South Seas Island Resort. Everyone was friendly and the resort was beautiful. The rooms are very clean. Everything was in walking distance. We got to see manatee and dolphins swimming outside our room, our balcony overlooked the boating dock, great place to take your family. Also ask for Lisa Nolte, she will make your stay there... More

This island is the perfect place to get away and just...relax. We enjoyed all of the great food and shops, but most of all the amazing sunsets. There are a ton of different options in South Seas for lodging, and most of them are well maintained and the property is gorgeous. The dining options within the resort are decent, with... More

We stayed one week at South Seas, with our 3 boys (8, 6 and 1.5 yrs old). Had a great experience. We stayed in the Tennis Villas, which are near the entrance of the resort. We loved the location. For spending over $500 a night for the villas, we were a little surprised at the condition of the villas. However... More

We have visited South Seas several times over the last 15 years and we have seen the price constantly rise whilst the quality of the accommodation has declined. The beach and local area is superb but the price cannot be justified given the very tired accommodation. I accept that the villas are privately owned and therefore vary, but the quality of... More

The marketing for your property is quite good, however I should have held the tripadvisor comments from previous guests with more regard. The resort was once probably quite nice. We found it to be in need of many things. Service was the biggest concern of ours, there was none. Lauren at the front desk was useless in our check in.... More
