Absolutely love this place! The staff treated us like family. Restaurants & shopping near by, but not too congested like othere areas in Florida that we have stayed. Shells & shark teeth galore! Enjoyed watching the dolphins down at the jetty. Already counting down to our next visit in December!

Casey Key has the best beaches south of Siesta. But Casey is not crowded like Siesta. Nokomis beach has whiter sand than Venice, Casperson, Manasoto or Brohard. Old Florida style motel right on the beach. It was a cute little courtyard. Pleasant walk across the bridge to go over to Pops, then strolled along the beach after dinner. If you... More

This is an old property with a good location on the beach. It could use some serious updating and maintenance. It works if you aren't fussy about your accommodations. Tiny bathroom with a shower that did not drain well. We swept the sand off the floor on arrival as it was quite gritty. The local restaurants were recommended but neither... More

Booked here at last second because it was only hotel in area with availability (one room left) and really enjoyed it. Nice and casual on the beach. We were actually across the street from the main hotel but liked it even better. Right on a canal with nice areas to walk around. Hotel isn't fancy (though it was fine) but... More

Nice little get away, seems they have alot of long term guests. we were across from the beach, but view of the waterway, which was pretty, but actually not terribly private if that matters. Nice corner spot, so sun and shade. Tiny kitchen (room 45) but most everything you need. Wireless was an issue, and i had todo some work... More

Overall a good stay. The room was clean and comfortable, and the beach access was convenient. It was not inexpensive, but well in line with area pricing, and again, the nearby beach was a big plus. The kitchen facilities were useful, as there is not too many eating choices close.

My husband and I were recommended to vacation at Casey's Keys a Beach Retreat by two family friends who both promised we would have the time of our lives. Not only were the condo hotel rooms, very clean and modern, they had a beautiful view of the beach. We were able to see a sunset every evening. The staff made... More

It was close to the beach - that's about it. Daily housekeeping service is extra (they did not disclose that when I booked the room). They do provide an exchange of towels (one set per guest every other day) and a weekly exchange of linen (also, not disclosed when the room was booked). No phones in the room (not a... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the clean, quiet coastal tranquility of the Beach Retreat . Just enough of all the right pieces that combine to make a great beach vacation ....we'll appointed room, clean and modern, tropical courtyard that leads to the beach, honor system library of books and movies , beach chairs ,umbrellas...we even got to borrow a fishing pole that our... Excellent place to relax. Second year we have stayed there. We will stay at A Beach Retreat each time we come to Florida. Very clean, very pleasant employees and overall just a wonderful place. Loved eating on the patio looking at the Gulf. It is very quiet . We walked across the bridge a few times and ate at the... More
