Love this place! Found it last year and have been there 4 times! I have stayed in the regular hotel room w 2 doubles and just tried the small junior suite in the beach front building. It has 2 twin daybeds that serve as couches in day with 2 arm chairs and tv. Then a double bed is sectioned off... More

Great service, excellent location. Great atmosphere. We have stayed here so many times since 2012, and is always the same perfect place. I recommend this hotel specially for families with little kids.

We stayed here only one night as a 'pit-stop' as we were traveling from Key Largo to Tampa. Really wish we could've stayed longer! The staff at the Vanderbilt was superb especially Sean who went out of his way to keep us comfortable on the beach. When my son inadvertently left his homework binder in our room, the staff called... We have been staying at the Vanderbilt now for 4 years. The atmosphere is TOTALLY laid back and the service is great, yet there is so much to do. Sean, the beach guy is the absolute BEST and the NEW motorized paddle boards really made our stay this year! We recommend this resort to EVERYONE even though, we want to... More

We have been coming to VBR for over 20 years, I would guess that shows they are doing something right. We have a gulf side studio, that has everything we need. We cook many meals in our room but there is an abundance of great restaurants close at hand to include The Turtle Club. The staff and management are top... More

As I am reluctant to share a positive one for fear of making the VBR even more popular - it already seems hard enough to get dates! Traveled with family of 5 including 2 teenagers and all agreed it was absolutely wonderful. We stayed in a 2 bdrm condo in the 4-storey building across the street from the two storey... More

This was our first visit to the Vanderbilt Beach Resort and we plan to return. The front desk staff, which includes the owners, are incredibly accommodating. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the beach staff is both friendly and efficient. You can order drinks while you are relaxing on the beach and your chairs and umbrella is set up for... The Vanderbilt is a great trip down memory lane of historical FLA hotels with all the modern conveniences. I prefer boutique type properties like this to cookie cutter modern hotels, so if you are all about the latest all new, probably not your thing. We stayed for two nights in one of the two bedroom condos on the bayside. The... More

Right off the bat I want to state that I actually give this "resort" about 3 stars. Why am I putting it in the 1-star category? I believe modern American human nature is to look at the worst first, so I hope they read this before any others! Well...here goes: There's good news and bad news, both pros and cons... More

We would like to thank this guest for his very honest and straightforward comments, especially his acknowledgement that his wife loved our property. We take guest feedback very seriously and while we are disappointed that this guest did not love his stay with us, we are happy that his spouse did. While our hotel business and property is one of... 5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2015

I enjoyed a week in Naples at VBR in Jan 2015. It was one of my most enjoyable vacations to Florida. I tend to stay in places on the beach in a room with a beach view, and I am not willing to even cross a road to get to the beach. Given that outlook, it is difficult to find... More
