Offered amazing trips to the thousand islands. The hotel itself has a restaurant which has a limited menu but the food was good. The breakfast was sufficient. The breakfast was for free what was really a positive surprise. The hotel is located in the middle of the Everglades, it is difficult to reach it or to do something without a... More

Nice reception, amazing trips were offered, parking area for free, one restaurant with limited choice of food but the food was good, good breakfast, in the middle of the everglades i.e. nothing to do during the evening and the restaurant etc close quite fast, nice rooms

This was such an unexpected gem in the middle of the hot and humid Everglades! Such a great property. We had a nice bungalow, with a kitchenette and spacious bathroom. There is on site laundry which was very convenient. There is a beautiful swimming pool that closed at dusk, so we were unable to use it, but it looked so... More

Quite near the interstate but our room & the whole place was very quiet, the staff are very friendly & welcoming. There is a small store for everyday bits, the restaurant has a range of meals & day specials - reasonable prices. Our room was a good size, clean & tidy, well outfitted & on the ground floor. The patio doors... More

Something about this place really reminds me of something you'd find on route 66 back in the day. This place must have been one of the most impressive hotels in the area back in the late fifties and it still holds its unique charm today in a very, very good way. It is a great family resort, my daughter absolutely... More

This reminds me of a National Park Lodge, very charming and quaint. Our room was at the back with a view over rooftops, but we could just see water. The room was clean and comfortable, with doors leading to a public balcony. Breakfast was complimentary with the only hot items being toast and coffee, but there was ample juice, milk... More

My husband and I stayed here over the valentine's weekend. It is a unique property with reasonable rates and a friendly staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Short drive to Marco Island or Naples and far less expensive. We booked a fishing trip in the Everglades and met our guide in the marina just outside of our room.

My sister, my husband, and I stayed in this resort for a few days while we explored Loop Road and Everglades City. The resort is simply charming. The main building is gorgeous; it is very open and has the most wonderful beams and wood ceilings - about 30 ft high! The fireplace is huge, and there is plenty of room... More
