4 years ago a friend and I stumbled across an amazing jewel in Old Town Naples. Nestled amongst multi million $ properties and lovely old school Florida cottages is the Gondolier. A few blocks from 5th Ave. 3rd St. and the beach this retro charmer is all you need for a wonderful get away. I have happily spend 4-6 weeks... More

The Gondolier Inn is in the heart of Olde Naples. Two blocks to the Beach and 5th Ave. Walk or bike everywhere. No need for a vehicle. Great rooms, reminds me of a 1960 Cape Cod hotel, quaint and cozy! Great for long term stays. Kitchenettes and gas grille available.

There's so much to say about this sweet place. The only place in Naples I would ever stay... This intimate, cozy oasis takes you away to a special place and time... From the manicured pebble drive to the tables out front it breaths 'your HOME'. Nothing better than sitting out front of your room with a glass of wine, crackers/cheese,... More

The great things about Gondolier Apartments are that the price is very affordable and the location is three blocks off the main shopping street in Naples. The owner is super friendly, and happy to help with anything you need. The buildings and appliances are older but clean and serviceable. It was a bit like going back to my grandfather's cabin... What a sweet spot on the middle of Old Naples, a understated gem in a city full of pretense. Just blocks from the beach, shopping and restaurants you can walk everywhere. Simple, friendly, honest and clean. Henry the owner is absolutely wonderful, and many of the other guests have been going there for many years. I am looking forward to... More

In the area of Hi-Rises, over run with Condo's and ridiculously priced hotels this was an incredible find. One story old Florida Style Motel, seems a rather harsh word to describe it. My unit was like stepping back in time. Full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and bath, lots of closet space, and fully equipped kitchen. It was wonderful. A... More

The owner is a delightful character and tries to provide guests with many amenities. Most guests stay for extended visits and are comfortable with the old kitchy furnishings and look of the 1950's style motel. The exterior and grounds are well kept. The ground is covered with gravel that gets tracked into your unit constantly if your shoes have ridges... More

One of the best kept secrets in Naples is The Gondolier Inn on 8th Avenue South. It is a taste of Old Florida in the heart of Olde Naples, and it's a pleasant walk to the beach, 5th Avenue (restaurants and shops), Cambier Park (band concerts and art shows), and the 3rd Street Historic District (Naples Pier, Saturday Farmer's Market,... I found the Gondolier through this site, called the owner and left a message; Henry called me back within minutes. Though he prefers longer term rentals, he worked with me and put me in a vacant unit for a few days. Liked it so much I extended my stay. What I liked has been mentioned in other reviews and is... great location, short walk to beach and downtown & shopping. Very friendly owner operator. Rooms have retro look and are small. Made me feel like I was in Key west. Owner has beach chairs, umbrellas, books to borrow.
