We arrived and was thrilled with the hotel only to wake up to a neumatic drill and construction that never stopped all day. The pool was so noisy with constuction we couldent stand it. We were in Naples a few weeks ago, and although we enjoyed the area, we were disappointed in our Hotel. We stayed at the Grand Inn and although the hotel was lovely we experienced a few problems with the management. Might be a very good hotel but I doubt if I will ever stay there. Thier web site quotes $129 for 1 night 27 Nov, with a "Best Rate Guarantee" or if you e-mail them with a site you can get the same night rate cheaper, they will honour that plus a 10% discount. Ramada Naples is new hotel, built in 1999. Everything was clean and well kept during our 6 day stay. There is a small heated outdoor pool, and a fitness room...I think. It is not, as the ad says, 1/2 mile from the beach, it's more like 1.5 miles, along and across very busy highways. Ask for room facing the pool.... more
