Stayed two days at the Mt. Dora Historic Inn. Beautiful setting and nice rooms. Excellent breakfast prepared by the innkeepers. Very helpful innkeepers. The bed and breakfast was within walking distance of the shopping/restaurant district. Never moved the car the two days we stayed. Perfect location and great place to stay. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend. more

This was our second stay and walking through their front door was like visiting good friends. It was great to see Ana and Jim once again. They are the most welcoming and warm hosts we've had in a B&B. Jim's breakfasts are always over the top...we always look forward to the next day's surprises. While creating true gourmet delights, he takes great pride in doing things right, and has a cookbook coming soon. Ana keeps... more

We just returned from our first trip to Mt. Dora and the Historic Inn, which we hope will not be our last. This B & B is charming and immaculate, reflective of the darling town of Mt. Dora. The owners, Jim and Ana, couldn't be more friendly and accomodating. We spent a quiet comfortable night in our cute, romantic, well-appointed room before being treated to an amazing gourmet breakfast of chilled berry soup, three-cheese souffle,... more

Ana & Jim's attention to detail is incredible and results in a wonderfully relaxing stay for guests. Can't wait for Jim's cookbook. The Inn is located within a short 1/2 block of everything downtown Mt. Dora has to offer, yet remains a quet retreat. more

Our stay at the Mt. Dora Historic Inn was one of our best mini vacations to date. From the time we checked in until the time we checked out the service and attention we had was incredible. We stayed for three nights so we were able to enjoy Jim's specialty breakfasts for three mornings. Each morning was better.... something I did not think was possible after our first breakfast. He presents each course as if... more

Mount Dora Historic Inn was a great place to stay. It is centrally located in Mount Dora so you can park your car when you check in and leave it until you check out. The hospitality is superb. Jim & Anna make you feel right at home. The breakfasts that Jim creates and Anna serves are the best I have ever had. The chef describes every course as it is served and the company around... more

Our third, and certainly not last, visit to Mt. Dora Historic Inn was huge success. Jim and Ana are the best Innkeepers in the world and they made our stay truly memorable. The food is to die for, the lovey rooms are beautifully decorated , and the other guests were delightful. My sister and I are happy to park the car in the back of the Inn and spend the rest of our trip walking... more

This is our third trip to the Mt. Dora Historic Bed and Breakfast. The visit becomes more delightful each time. Jim and Ana have attended to every detail. They have become good friends. The breakfasts are gourmet and the hospitality is so warm and inviting. We will surely be back again. The location is ideal for almost any activity in Mount Dora. This is a quaint little town, good for sightseeing, shopping and just relaxing.... more

My wife & I have stayed at B&B's from Nantucket to Key West and to celebrate our 22nd wedding anniversary I was looking for a B&B with character (built 1886), convenient location (1-block from downtown Mt Dora) and preferably a decent breakfast (Jim is an excellent master chef). So after extensive research - and most importantly talking directly to the owner - Jim Tuttle - and exquisite host - Jim made me feel very comfortable... more

A nice, cosy little house in a great location within walking distance of downtown. Rooms were clean and pleasant, but not spacious or elegant. The non-resident innkeepers were friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast around a communal table was an enjoyable affair. The public carpark next door can be noisy at night. We highly recommend the Frosty Mug Restaurant a few minutes walk away. more
