We just returned from our first trip to Mt. Dora and the Historic Inn, which we hope will not be our last. This B & B is charming and immaculate, reflective of the darling town of Mt. Dora. Mount Dora Historic Inn was a great place to stay. It is centrally located in Mount Dora so you can park your car when you check in and leave it until you check out. The hospitality is superb. This is our third trip to the Mt. Dora Historic Bed and Breakfast. The visit becomes more delightful each time. Jim and Ana have attended to every detail. They have become good friends. A nice, cosy little house in a great location within walking distance of downtown. Rooms were clean and pleasant, but not spacious or elegant. The non-resident innkeepers were friendly and helpful and the cooked breakfast around a communal table was an enjoyable affair. The public carpark next door can be noisy at night. We highly recommend the Frosty Mug Restaurant a few minutes walk away. more
