My wife & I spent our 17 year anniversary here in the cottage. Everything was very nice. VERY close to the shops & lake. The back cottage is secluded & we did not see or hear anyone while back there in our own space. The house is great Lucy was exceptional! The breakfast was huge & perfect. I saw other... More

Stayed here as a part of our anniversary weekend for one night (a bit unusual for a B&B, but they accommodated us well). Lucy was very nice and inviting, a bit of a language barrier, but she was very helpful with choosing a dinner spot and also gave us the option to upgrade to the carriage house room. We were... More

I stayed here as part of a larger group and was very impressed by the combination of old world charm and modern convenience. The wi-fi was adequate for the needs of 10+ people online at the same time. The tables had enough outlets for all of our laptops. And Inkeeper Lucy Stewart pretty much "adopted" each of us and fed... I was organizing an event and several people from my group stayed at the Magnolia Inn. I was there for 5 nights and can't get over how wonderful Lucy was. She was helpful, patient, attentive, but not intrusive. The decor is lovely--everything I would expect from a B&B and then some! The downstairs area is great because it's so spacious,... More

The Magnolia Inn was convenient, clean, and especially friendly. We could easily walk to the center of town with its many fine restaurants. Our innkeeper Lucy was always available, gracious, and very accommodating. We stayed in the guest cottage in the back, which afforded us a great deal of privacy. The gardens are comfortable but could use some attention. Breakfast... More

We just spent a very lovely night in Magnolia Bed and Breakfast! Lucy was the best! And her granddaughter Maria also! The house is BEAUTIFUL! It is of course Victorian in style, going with the house. It is only a couple blocks to the downtown area full of wonderful shops and boutiques. Wonderful place for a quick get away weekend.... More

The inside of the house is nice enough and Lucy the inn keeper was very sweet. But that is all I can say. The grounds are a complete mess. The gazebo with non working jacuzzi is now their cat house and the half hanging strings of left over Christmas lights and trees growing out of the gutters was just the... More

Thank you for your kind words about me the innkeeper. I try to do my very best. The cat was only in the gazebo for one night. On that day there was a really big storm with a tornado coming up. We couldn't let the cat sit outside soaking wet in the rain, we also couldn't let him inside the... More

We spent a night at Magnolia Inn because we had to attend a meeting the next day in a neighboring town and didn't want to have make the round trip there in one day. The house is a beautiful 1926 mansion sitting on beautiful grounds. The house was lavishly furnished in the style of 1926. We opted for a less... More

We stayed one night at the Magnolia as a break from Disney World. We were very pleased with our room and the house itself. The home is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Plenty of rooms to find a private place to just relax and or read one the books. It is a very short walk to all the great restaurants... More
